Hello! My name is Comet (main blog @ghostlycomets) and welcome to my Nimbasa Trio (Emmet, Ingo, Elesa) blog! This is a story-driven blog so don't try and change it, please!

You can have self-inserts TO A DEGREE! It can't alter the story, you can't have magic except Magic Anon (creating items that don't influence the story or cause a massive issue), and you are visible to the characters. You can also hug/touch/etc the environment and the characters, but don't do anything inappropriate or try to physically harm them.

Facts about the blog:

This is an LGBTQ+ friendly blog. Anyone of any sexuality, gender identity, etc are welcome!

Emmet, Elesa, and Ingo are polyamorous. Ingo and Emmet are NOT romantically attracted to one another since they are BROTHERS. They are both attracted to Elesa in a polyamorous relationship.

Elesa is a transgender man because I think that's fun! He uses any pronouns except she/her. This is an AU so I just think that's fair to have my own headcanons.

Emmet is nonbinary masculine (they/he) and Ingo is a demiboy (he/they). They use those pronouns interchangeably.

This blog takes place BEFORE Ingo is eebie deebied to Hisui, but who knows, maybe it'll occur in the story <3

Previous anon back! Another question. If we make characters who might know in universe characters(like a former plasma grunt or scientist) would they react? Like if it's been set up before hand. Fine if not I just think that'd be neat

I know you’re either never gonna see this or acknowledge it and that’s understandable. I just wanted to apologize. I wanted to apologize to all of you. I don’t expect y’all’s forgiveness, that’s not what I’m wanting. I simply just want to apologize for everything. This is the only reason I am on here. I hope you all are doing well. /gen

(I didn't want to post this publicly because I respect your privacy, but I'm going to be honest, I have zero clue who you are, especially since you could be a few people. As a result, I have no gauge on whether I can forgive you or even acknowledge you for this. However, thank you, I guess?? If you want to dm me, send another anon or ask from your actual blog, or something giving an indicator as to who you are, you're welcome to!

*Echo hummed, rubbing the Emolga's ears gently.*

"I'm with Emmet on the 'healthy pokemon don't mean good person' thing. I...I've seen adults with fully trained Lucarios have Shuppet outside their kid's bedroom window. Just because they care about *something* doesn't make them *good*. If your ~truth and belief~ vibes are going off, then I believe you." *She said simply, nodding in the twin's direction.*

"Since he won, he's gotta be doing the gym circuit right? And you guys are pretty influential. Just send some threads down the telephone pole. 'Vibes are off. Keep an eye out'. Shouldn't be too hard." *She muttered.*

"Didn't pass the vibe check," Elesa commented with a little chuckle. "But regardless, some personal opinions and emotions don't mean that he isn't a good person. He hasn't quite done anything. With that being said, I trust Emmet and Ingo's judgment. They are rarely wrong about this kind of thing. I'll send a thread out. We'll see what comes of it."

Emmet nodded gratefully and seemed a bit more relaxed. Their shoulders slumped a bit and they toned down the fidgeting of their button- a stim that they didn't realize they were doing, much like Ingo was also doing. "Thank you, Elesa."

"Of course!" He exclaimed and grinned. "Now! I have to go back out there for a meet-and-greet. Feel free to join me. If you don't want to, I hope all of you have a lovely time!"

He fixed his outfit and adjusted his black and blue hair- upon closer inspection, it was not a wig, but he had, in fact, dyed his hair. The twins looked at him fondly as Elesa waved happily and began to make his way to the public.

The young Emolga that Elesa left behind was still in Echo's arms, content with nuzzling into her. It seems that Elesa had snuck his pokeball into Echo's pocket.

"Could he be someone from the subway?" *Echo asked, shifting the baby pokemon in her arms as she stood up, anxiety mostly gone.* "Not necessarily a challenger, but just. A commuter?"

*She walked over to the trio, sitting down on a chair nearby.*

"You guys are pretty famous for being able to remember most challengers that face you, since it takes a while to get to you. If the face doesn't ring a bell, but you still recognize them, then maybe he was somebody who's been riding the subway lately? I'm sure you guys recognize your regulars."

*She shrugged, looking down at the Emolga instead of any of the people in the room.*

"If someone new started consistently riding the subway, I'm sure you'd notice, even if not consciously. You guys are pretty busy and can't really memorize every passenger, but you're observant enough to clock someone different from the usual fare."

The twins seemed contemplative. If this individual was someone who rid on the subway often, then it'd make sense as to why both of them recognized the man. Something didn't sit well with either of them, however.

"That... is true," Ingo piped up as he began to fidget with the button on his trench coat. He felt the metal between his fingers and continued to rub the soothing material. "We often recognize our regulars. You are correct in that regard."

Emmet nodded in agreement and straightened their posture. They tapped their chin as they remained deep and thought with their eyes staring off into space. If anyone was in their line of sight, it felt as though they were staring straight through them.

"Friendship evolutions... I am Emmet. Pokemon have good judgment. That doesn't mean I like him," they suddenly declared with a huff. "A man can love his Pokemon, but be a horrible person. There's just... something about him..."

[Scylla is a show breed Hydreigon that Ghost raised from an egg! Plasma stole her egg, and Ghost took it and hatched it themself.]

*Echo blinked in surprise, carefully taking the baby emolga from Elesa and holding him in her hands. He was very small, but incredibly soft.*

*Echo looked up at Elesa, confusion in her gaze. After a moment she looked back down at the baby pokemon, gently leaning her head forward to tap her nose against the pokemon's face.*

*A shuddering breath exited her, and she carefully picked up the toy train with a nod at Emmet and sat down on the floor, seeking out the cheerful baby's emotions to drown out her own anxiety.*

"You guys can keep talking." *She said softly, not taking her gaze away from the Emolga as she showed him the train.* "Just need a few."

The young Emolga extended his small paws towards the train. He grabbed onto it and began to chew the top of it. He bapped his paw against Echo's cheek in an attempt at cheering her up.

Elesa smiled warmly at the two and then turned to face the twins to allow Echo to relax.

Emmet seemed thoughtful for a moment and, with a curious look from Elesa, they sighed. "This... Dolor person. I don't like him," they murmured. Ingo and Elesa knew of Emmet's intuition when they met someone, and more often than not, it tended to be right.

"Why do you say that, brother?" Ingo asked with furrowed brows- showcasing the extent of his facial expressions.

"I am Emmet. I'm not sure," they admitted and folded their arms. "It feels like I met him before..."

*Echo laughed nervously, making quick eye contact and shaking Elesa's hand but pulling away the moment she could, shifting to be slightly behind Emmet.*

"It's not full amnesia, I remember. Yknow. My life. Just. Not how I got here, or what day it is. Relevant information." *She mumbled, shoving her hands into her pocket to fiddle with Titan's pokeball. The worn stone comforting in her palm.*

*She listened to Elesa describe the challenger, vaguely taking in the information about his pokemon and skill. She glanced up at Emmet, giving him a tight smile as she tried to shove down the anxiety that was beginning to rise.*

*She DIDN'T know where she had been last. Didn't know how much time she had lost. She had been in Galar of all places before she was in the subway, sleeping in a hotel. More anxiety filled her as she remembered that her things were most likely still in said hotel. If she hasn't been kidnapped or some other event. She had no identification, no money, no food or clothes. Nothing but what she was wearing and holding.*

*She took a step back to lean against the wall as she held Titan's pokeball with a firmer grip, biting the inside of her cheek to keep her in reality. It was only pure luck that he had come with her, instead of being left behind with every other item she had ever owned.*

*Her blue gaze was far away, staring at the ground without seeing anything, and she had long lost track of the conversation between Elesa and Ingo.*

Elesa flickered his gaze towards Echo during the conversation. He paused, briefly, and ran his hand over the pokeball attached to a belt-like ring on his hip. He grabbed a specific pokeball and rose to his full height. He expertly walked over to Echo despite wearing heels, and with a gentle tap on the pokeball's button, some sparkles flickered in Elesa's grasp.

In Elesa's hands, a shiny Emolga looked up at Echo with large, round eyes. He twitched his nose and made a little trill as Elesa held him out. The Emolga looked rather young.

"Hey," Elesa whispered gently. "You seem stressed. This little guy doesn't have a name, but he's my Emolga's offspring. Very young, so be gentle, but he likes cuddles and you can hold him to calm down. Take in a deep breath, alright? Hold the breath, and then exhale. I can't imagine being an amnesiac in such a bustling city. I was an immigrant, you see- so I know, if only a little, how overwhelming a new place can be. Do you need a glass of water?"

Ingo and Emmet didn't move closer in case it would overwhelm Echo. Instead, Emmet took out a little toy train from their pocket. It was a Ballaarat steam engine, and while it was old, it rolled easily over the smooth floor until it lightly ran into Echo's foot. It was Emmet's way of showing their support.

*Echo cheerfully swatted away Emmet's hand, trying to reign in her laughter. The secondhand excitement from the battle still lingering in the air. She didn't make any move to remove Ingo's hand, accepting the physical weight easily.*

*She stalled slightly when they reached the staff door, but stepped through at the twins urging. She took a step back as the gym leader greeted his friends, and startled slightly when the man addressed her specifically.*

"Right! Sorry, I was just kinda-" *Echo gestured to the backstage hustle and bustle around them.*

"I'm Echo! I like watching battles, if not fighting in them! You were really impressive! Not even fights I've seen between pack pokemon are that in tune with each other! It was really something!" *She gushed, tucking her white hairs behind her ears nervously. She seemed comfortable enough with the twins, but a public service worker was different than a gym leader, no matter how famous.*

"And it's-I'm new." *She continued, glancing over at the twins.* "There's been some kind of...mishap. Can't even remember where I was last, so they're just. Helping, yknow?"

*Echo shrugged nervously, clasping her hands together to prevent any fidgiting.*

"It's what they do, I guess." *She muttered, trying her best to avoid feeling embarrassed.*

Elesa realized that Echo was nervous and embarrassed. He furrowed his brows in contemplation and slowly lowered himself to the ground to be shorter and more at level with Echo. His posture was relaxed and his gaze was soft. With gentle movements, he extended his hand, and offered reassurance without the need for words. His calm demeanor seemed to emanate a quiet strength, inviting others to find solace in his presence.

"There's no need to be nervous, darling. If you're friends with my boys, then you're a friend to me! Everything will be alright. You said you had no memories?" He asked and curiously tilted his head. He gazed up at the twins with intelligent light blue-gray eyes. "And I appreciate the compliments! The battle was fun."

"Bravo, Elesa!" Ingo chimed in with a not-quite-smile. His lips attempted the gesture, but to no avail. This earned a giggle from Elesa who often found the attempt adorable. "You and the challenger were magnificent!"

"Ah, yes, the challenger. He was quite an interesting fellow," Elesa commented. "He seemed rather... focused. He was very close with his Pokemon- many friendship evolutions, for starters, but... he hardly had to say a word for his Pokemon to understand. His name is Dolor, but he doesn't seem like he's from around here."

"Fucking incredible!" *Echo said, voice lowered now that the crowd began to disperse. She looked over at Emmet and Ingo, a large grin on her face.*

"I've never really seen stuff like this before! Watching other trainers battle is fun, but nothing like THIS!"

*She bounced slightly, running one hand through her hair while the other held onto Ingo's jacket. She turned over to Emmet, a softer smile on her face. There was something nervous and uncertain in her gaze, but hopeful as well.*

"And I would love to be part of your friend group. You guys are awesome! I don't know why you'd want me when I'm nothing special, but I really appreciate it."

(Actually fuck it, I'm not going to let stuff ruin my fun!!)

"I am Emmet. Everyone is special," Emmet stated and flashed a grin. "Not one person is more special than another. We are special in our own right. People may laugh, but we laugh louder! Don't let people get you down." They reached a hand out to Echo and patted her head. "I am Emmet. You're part of this friend group. We are equals. Come on!"

Emmet gestured for Echo to follow and ran off in the direction where Elesa was going to be. Ingo was quick to follow, though he made sure Echo was with him. He kept a protective hand on her shoulder, giving enough room for her to pull away if she decided she didn't want to be touched, and guided her through the dispersing crowd.

Soon enough, the three of them reached a door to the back. It said in big, red letters "STAFF ONLY," but Emmet swung the door open. They held it open for Ingo and Echo before letting go and allowing for it to swing closed.

The room was filled with many makeup tools strewn on different desks, and the room was rather bright. There were workers running here and there, getting things all packed up and organized now that the show was over. Elesa was by one of the desks that had a mirror and he was fixing his makeup, but when the three of them approached him, he noticed them in the mirror.

Quickly, he hopped to his feet and bore a smile so large that his face looked like it should hurt. "Ingo! Emmet! My boys!" He exclaimed and wrapped his arms around the two of them. He squeezed them to death- though not literally- and the Subway Bosses returned the gesture.

"Elesa! Brilliant show! Bravo!" Ingo exclaimed when the hug was over.

Emmet patted Elesa on the back. "Too bad you lost."

"What's the purpose of a gym if I don't lose a few rounds here and there?" Elesa laughed. "Then I'd have a surplus of badges collecting dust!"

The star soon noticed Echo and brightened immediately. "Aww, aren't you adorable? Hello!" He extended a hand in a handshake. "You look very nice. I'm Elesa, Nimbasa City's gym leader! Pleasure to meet you. What's your name?" He then looked towards the twins. "I didn't know you made a new friend!"

I do not know when I'll ever be able to come to this blog. I had a breakup with my ex partner who was doing the art, and it was messy. I will not get into the details out of respect for them, but just know that they requested that all of their art to be taken off of my blog. Thank you all for understanding.

*Echo smiled, blue eyes lighting up.*

"That's so sweet! I know how hard a language barrier can be, it was uh-hm." *She paused, before pushing forward.* "I'm an empath. It's meant to connect me with Titan and other pokemon. Part of the whole-" *She gestured to her hair.* "Shiny business. Doesn't allow me to do much other than know if a pokemon is happy or sad or whatever. But it made me a very weird kid, especially since I couldn't tell what other *people* were feeling."

*She shrugged, a lax expression on her face.*

"Like I said, kids would bully me, but their pokemon would protect me. Started up a rumor that I was mind controlling pokemon, and since I could only tell the...vibes of the pokemon, who *liked me*, it was exceptionally easy for me to be tricked into getting hurt. And then the pokemon would realize their trainer was hurting me in some way, and that'd cause infighting, and it just-"

*She sighs, looking over at the twins.*

"It was so hard, feeling like I was speaking a language nobody else could understand. I can only imagine how hard it is to *actually be in that situation.* I'm sure you guys were probably the one good thing happening to Elesa when everything else seemed like it was horrible."

*She smiled at their comment on trains, rocking back and forth slightly.*

"I'm no expert when it comes to trains, but I'm well aware you guys are. When we have some free time, you should *absolutely* infodump on me. The steam engine is a work of *art* and you guys could probably give me the entire history on the paints alone."

Ingo nodded in understanding, but towards the infodumping he perked up. He had to hold himself back, and Emmet, from infodumping right there and then. Now was not the time. "Well, don't worry, Mx. Echo! We'll keep you safe."

Emmet nodded in agreement and gave a respectful solute. "I know how it is to get bullied," they commented and shrugged a bit, brushing it off. "It isn't fun. I also have the curse of knowing if someone is lying, too. If someone lied to my face, I'd sense something is wrong. I'll try and get more information. As a result, it makes me kind of weird."

"It's useful," Ingo replied and patted his brother on the back. "But hey, we're just a group of weirdos that can stick together. That's why we befriended Elesa, too! He needed a friend that understood him. We happened to fit the criteria! Now we're inseparable, and no matter what happens, we'll stick together."

"Yup yup! So now you're part of the squad. Welcome!" Emmet cheered which, surprisingly, went along with the sudden cheers of the crowd around them.

The twins spun on their heels to look at the battle, and on the screen behind Elesa, it displayed how many Pokemon each trainer had. Elesa was down to Typhoon, who looked tired and weakened, while the opponent had only his Togekiss. Ingo and Emmet were caught off-guard by how quickly the battle was nearing its end, but when they checked their respective watches, it's been going on for far longer than expected.

When the opponent trainer flew his hand out in front of him, he didn't need to call a command. The Togekiss flew forward and a ball of pink energy formed in front of her mouth, and she torpedoed it forward. The Moonblast struck its target despite Typhoon's attempt at avoiding the fast strike, and smoke flung in every direction from the sheer power this Togekiss wielded.

Emmet shielded Echo and the Zorua from the smoke, while Ingo coughed and acted as an extra barrier. Once the smoke cleared, Elesa's dumbfounded expression and posture became visible, and Typhoon's fainted body laid on the runway. The opponent was the victor.

Elesa gave a small smile and recalled Typhoon into his pokeball. He sighed and walked up to the purple-haired trainer. He extended his hand and clasped the opponent's in a show of sportsmanship. "Congratulations, Dolor, for defeating the Nimbasa City gym. You fought well out there."

When he pulled away, the badge was in Dolor's hand. It shone brilliantly in the light of the stadium. "It was a pleasure, Elesa. You fought brilliantly, as well."

Elesa nodded in response and turned towards the crowd. "And here you have it! The winner of the battle! I'll sign autographs in ten minutes, so get ready for a personal meet and greet!"

The crowd began cheering again as Elesa left behind stage.
