It’s not like Eun-mi started out hating her husband. It’s just that overtime, she was practically taking care of 2 kids.

The after effects of Harvey’s procedure were almost regressive. He couldn’t help Toby with his homework, because he could no longer read. His motor skills are that of a toddler still learning to walk.

His lexicon dawdles between a thirty year old and a drug addict’s. Early after the procedure, Harvey would go days without speaking.

All these things, combined with Harvey’s costly medical bill, led them both back to square one.

But the final nail in the coffin was Harvey’s inability to feel pain. One time he burned himself on a cast iron skillet and didn’t even notice until Eun-mi pointed it out. Even then, he seemed mildly annoyed and confused rather than hurt.

If he felt nothing now, maybe things would go a lot smoother in the simulation. He’d understand; he’s selfless like that. Toby’s college fund wasn’t gonna pay for itself

He’s Toby’s school counselor and Harvey’s childhood friend. He’s also half angel, having to earn his halo once he goes to heaven. For now, though, they stall endlessly as they never get bored of the drama on Earth. Also he has a bestie, so he’ll be here for a while. His powers include, but are not limited to:

Eun-mi didn’t like Caleb at first, thinking he was there to steal Harvey away. But when he started showing genuine interest in her as well, she warmed up to him.
