✿ Though it seemed very late for some, Tsugaru was wide awake due to his current work schedule. This was one of the few things he hated about the job; no one to talk to -- well, at least none of his friends. A sigh pushed past his pressed lips as he crossed his arms. The Host wasn’t one to use ‘boring’ so lightly, but this was definitely boring. “I suppose I’ll head off then if there’s no sense in staying here.”

“Shira, you’re still here!” Tsugaru exclaimed, surprised that she still remembered him considering how long it had been. He certainly didn’t expect anyone to remember him. However, Tsugaru recollected that it had always been like this. To him, it meant a great deal that she was one to always welcome him back home. “You still remember me.” He mused to himself.

ღ Homecoming ღ
"Home" was the word used again. Bending over, he rest his elbows on his knees and stared between his feet in thought as the light hearted joking continued on.
He tried to recall upon this morning and the place he was in. First the scenery: he remembered it being still. Like the world was dead to him. The lighting was poor from the lack of sunrise and sounds appeared far off. Now it seems like there wasn’t crying nor shuffling heard from the kitchen. A light throbbing started in his brain— new scene had formed and it seemed someone was asleep next to him. This must have been before he passed out. Shizuo was always alone so why was someone sleeping in the same bed as him? That fact was strange yet oddly comforting, but for whatever reason he didn’t want to go back there. Anywhere but there.
Rubbing his forehead with his fingers to ease the onset of a headache he heard his brother’s soothing voice again, though his mind made no sense of the noises coming out of his mouth.
If the situation he was placed in wasn't so important Tsugaru was one hundred percent sure that he would be joking along with the Doctor and the Dullahan. Even though Shinra was positive that nothing bad was to come of this little memory loss and everything should return to normal soon Tsugaru still continued to cast worried glances at his sibling.
The Doctor noticed the Host's unease and placed a friendly hand on his shoulder. "He'll be fine. He'll be fine. Shizuo is tough. It'll take more than a hard hit to the head to cause significant brain damage!" Shinra responded, his tone still cheerful as he tried to make light of the predicament. Celty seemed to agree.
Fidgeting in his seat, Tsugaru moved closer to his brother noticing that he looked tense. Hopefully all this chit-chat wasn't making him upset. "Well if they think it's fine then what do you want to do?"
You don't l-look that old, Heiwajima-san. *giggles slightly before tilting her head* I wonder w-why you're feeling like that t-then... *purses her lips in thought before asking curiously* I've never been t-to America before, what's it l-like there? - Shira.
"Oh please," he began, running a hand through his soft, tousled hair, "I’m getting gray hairs on my head." The host joked before grinning. "I’m fine. Really, don’t worry."
"Oh!" He didn’t know where to begin. His vacation, although a bit rushed, was still very pleasant. The places he went were very different and he experienced a big culture shock when he got off the plane. "It was very fun and I did a lot of sight-seeing. Everything was odd, but I guess that’s something to expect since it’s a different country. Some of the people are very friendly."

If you're feeling like t-that. *wonders curiously before asking* Is there anything going on t-that might cause you to f-feel like that? *asks concernedly* - Shira. (I'm glad they did, if they've made you happier~)
"Hey now," he began, taking a stand of confidence with his hands crossed over his chest. The host began to speak in a matter-of-fact tone. "I may be old, but I'm not as susceptible to getting sick! I take care of myself." Grinning from ear-to-ear, he nodded his head before going into the details of his trip. "I went to America. It was very nice-- completely different from here in Japan though."
"Nope, nothing's going on right now that would make me feel like that. I guess that's why it's such a big surprise."
Shira-Anon, I'll be back tomorrow, but it was actually a pretty rough night for me. I'm gonna head off to bed, but you have your own tag on my blog now and I'll respond to your ask in the morning. (ﾉ)´∀｀(ヾ)

"Yeah, I have. I took a mini-vacation." He replied, debating on whether to explain why. He decided against it. "Really? Do I? That's great to hear. I've actually been feeling a little sluggish lately." The blond confessed.

*clasps her hands together and smiles brightly* T-That's good! I'm happy that y-you're doing better! L-Last time we saw each o-other, you weren't as happy. *smiles a bit sadly before brightening again* M'hm! I've been r-really busy, sorry for not s-stopping by sooner! - Shira. (I'm sorry I made you cry! But I'm glad they're happy tears and not sad ones. I've been meaning to stop by, but I've been busy *sigh*. My schedule's let up though, and I'll be able to drop in more~ I've missed our lil'rps)
He was honestly so very happy to see her once again. The fact that she still remembered him was a great shock. She was right about the fact that he wasn't has happy, but that was the past and wasn't apart of his life now. Managing a bright smile he explained, "I'm alright now. I know we departed on bad terms, but everything is fine now."
"Don't apologize! I should be the one saying sorry. I haven't been around for a really long time." He stated, recalling the time when he went overseas for a while to get away. "I'm really glad you stopped by right now."

"Shira...," He was certainly surprised to see that she still remembered him. The blond, although still in a state of shock, responded to her inquiry. "I've been quite alright, actually..." His voice faded away, as he stared at her. He was still amazed that she remembered him, let alone stopped by for a visit. "It really has."
