Gin-Gitaxius is curious about you Yes you have excepted the glory of phyrexia yet your flesh
so while me and my friend Poison is taking a break before War of the Spark I thought why not do a series of side stories where Axel meets other people from different planes
I thought I answered this? Like.. I vividly remember answering this.
I think a series of side stories is super cool :D
Outside his office where would be a scratching sound on the walls. Something large thought it would be a good idea to go climbing building today. Something large also lost it's grip and ended up putting its foot through his window in an attempt to catch itself. (@the-phyrexian-mechanist, who cant go five minutes without breaking something.)
Startled by the window shattering, Lukas jumped up from his desk and grabbed for his spear. He turned towards the broken window, where a mechanical clawed leg was standing on the windowsill.
“Who goes there?!” the ghost shouted in a somewhat shaky voice.
The foot tugged back out the window, followed by some rhaspy mechanical… noises.. that sounded quite a lot like complaining. Thaclel’s face poked through the window afterwards, thankfully she was too large to fit.
“I AM.” She said quite loudly. “Your window got in my way.”
Lukas wearily breathed a sigh of relief.
“Oh… it’s you, Thaclel,” he said as he lowered his spear. “It’s been a while. What are you doing? Why were you climbing the building?”
“Im Booored! And climbing is a thing that makes me not-bored.” She said and just.. hung there in his window for a while. A giant monster stuck to the side of the building wouldn’t be a problem… right?
“What are you doing here?”
“Um, I work here,” the ghost said as he leaned the spear back against the doorframe. “I was doing some paperwork when you, uh, broke my window. Are you alright? You’re not going to fall?”
“No, I will be fine. I climb the buildings a lot. That sounds like it is the most unpleasant thing that anyone could do.” She shrugged and stuck her upper set of arms through the window too, only damaging it a little more. She clung to the outside of the building with her other limbs.
Lukas looked worriedly at the window frame before returning to his deck.
“Yes, doing all this paperwork is rather unpleasant,” he grumbled. “That’s something I don’t understand about this world. Why does everything seem to require forms to be filled out? Wasn’t like this back home…”
“It was not a thing on my Homeworld as well. We had more efficient ways of keeping records.”
A thought then hit Thaclel and she asked immediately after.
“How do you make all of the paper you need?”
“Hmmn. Back home, we mostly write important documents on rag paper, made from hemp or cotton. I don’t know how the Azorius gets all the paper it needs for all these damned forms.”
Lukas briefly thumbed through the pages of the stacks of documents on his desk, before turning back to the Phyrexian anchored to his office window.
“Do you… get bored very easily? Enough to just start climbing buildings for fun?” he asked.
“That is a mystery I want to figure out in time then.” Thaclel spoke as she wriggled around some to get a better grip on the outside of the building.
“I do. I do not have a lot to do normally. And since I became like... this.. I have found that becoming bored is a thing that happens. Do organics and-” Ghost.. he wasnt exactly organic. “-Former organics deal with this often?”

*a servo precedes a Kaladeshi elf, awestruck at the designs of the machines*
There were many machines. Everything from half finished cruisers, old weaponry, an alien looking airship, and piles of scrap that seemed more sculpture than functioning device..
But the most intricate and compleat machine was Thaclel herself, who stood on the parked airship:
May I examine them with my other arm then?
*holds up their mechanical arm*
I have not seen machines like these before.
Ehh sure go ahead. Just do not steal things and avoid the one down there.
Points at something that looks more like a heap of scrap.
It falls apart.
*examines the varying machinery, trying to figure out what each does*
Hmm…
*writes down a few notes on the designs*
Were you the one who made these? I have a few questions about the design. Mostly about what they were designed for.
“I made most of them, or parts of them. Though most of the parts have come from my homeland. These were designed to do many things, show me which one you want to know most about.”
*points at a machine which has a chamber about the size of a person and many levers*
That one. I could not quite figure out what it does. Not even a clue.
“That would be a cruiser that I have dismantled with the intention of figuring out how to build a larger, better one.”
*Gestures at the pile that used to be the rest of the vehicle.*
Ah.
Wait. Cruiser like the Kaladeshi vehicles?
*facepalms*
I should have known. I used to build them back on Kaladesh.
“I have torn it up quite bad.”
*looks inquisitive, while gnawing a claw idly.*
Perhaps you could tell be about them more, and the use of this ‘aether’ stuff. I am only taught in using powerstones as an energy source.”
Sure. Aether is a fuel, you see. It flows through the systems of the machinery, and is used up in the parts which perform the action.
*orders the servo to return to them, and picks it up*
For example, here,
*points to a bluish piece of blown glass on it*
is the aether tank. The aether flows through these tubes to the rotational engine. One has to be careful about how it flows in certain applications, though.
After it reaches the engine, it flows through to the combustion chamber. The act of burning the aether releases a lot of energy, which is then captured by a turbine.
“And then where does the energy go? Or is it just expelled?” She leaned over to inspect it. So small. but it made so much sense now, she wondered what the parts of the vehicle were for.

(Open to asks? I had to delete a bunch a while ago because inbox was a mess. ;3;)
Hobby?
(Currently in the only active RP I have her in, Thaclel has become fascinated by the concept of racing vehicles.)
Just wanna point out if I haven't answered your asks yet its because I haven't thought of a good response yet. :o. I got a few sitting so figured id point that out.
Co-Habitate
Technically Nexyra lives with Thaclel. The little creature stays in Samuhika (Thaclels airship) mostly. :D
What you may need to know before possibly moving in with her? Thaclel is huge, loud, has no sense of personal space, and breaks almost everything she touches.
Also have some super quick and semi-scribbly art.
