thing one (1) and thing two (2)
wind swimming like bird through
bird through wind as swimming
floats on air on nothing on life

The Tale of A Worm: Birth, Life and Rebirth:
“i. the canal, and feeding”
feel your way out of the casing
feel your way out of the dirt, little one.
open your mouth and feed.
mother earth provides for her children.
drops crash against the earth,
every ounce of rain an unrelenting squall upon
rise and absorb the life.
the worm is snatched, suddenly.
saw the towers of green grass,
the trees, each a gnarled testament.
hundreds, thousands, millions of times
saw pale-skinned giants, each one so great yet so small
from the beak of the bird.
— the crow open its beak,
damn the worm to a cruel end.
and death watched it fall.
and death watched it fall.
a worm fell to the ground and died.
the bird, vicious, innocent murderer, dives on the
erupted corpse of the young worm,
savoring the fruits of its labor.
ye omen of death, and consume.
open your beak, child, and consume.
mother earth provides for her children.
