I've always known Punch Out existed, I just never paid it any mind because I saw it as just a "boxing game". In my defense, it was 2014 and I was a 7 year old who disliked sport games. BOY! I was only vaguely aware of Punch-Out's existence because of a few offhanded references to Little Mac and Doc

Then a damn Glass Joe edit randomly floated onto my feed and I went "this guy seems silly, lemme look into this real quick"

now I'm over here spiralling into insanity...it was not, in fact, real quick...

Confesssion… I haven’t played the NES version till now… but here’s my progress so far ^^

I’m actually not that much of a gamer, so they all took me a minute to get used to. Plus having listened to 20000 videos of guys yabbing about the physical que’s of each fighter helped. But I got to king hippo and died 5 times and I’m calling it quits for tonight lol. He’s a fuckin nuke.

No real update on my progress… I kept dying again 😢

I know how to beat King hippo. I know his que and what I should be doing. But I’m just not fast enough to get it without him TKOing me…

Also the game lets me restart the major circuit so have to start back up with Don Flamenco. He’s is such a baiter it kills me inside. Whenever I think about to beat him he takes half my health because I miss clicked the dodge… Sighhh Im enjoying myself so no worries.

I just know I will be raging once I get to Great Tiger since I can’t click fast enough to avoid his spinny attack. but I’m hoping I can make it to at least Soda Popinski or Super Macho Man since I’m probably never gonna get close to Mike Tyson
