Ophelia, absolute love

It was a lot of fun to work on her outfit with mixing aspects of clothing from "men and women's" styles for the Unoro.

Octavia Alexandrite Ryder, rite is Mediumship. She can see, talk to and hear to the dead. Her role within her community is that she's a Mehenko (a word with a different spelling from Pathologic's "menkhu"), a doctor. She can perform surgeries as well as working with herbs to make medications.

Cassady was Octavia's first love but when becoming pregnant a little too young, things changed for them drastically when her mother intervened.

I wanted to draw Ingram and Winifred before their transition! (I don't have a word for it yet)

The Unoro clothes are becoming easier to have a solid structure for but I need to work on other species in the story, like Winnie being Hanui. Winifred's outfit was very hard to come up with but I settled on something I'm mostly satisfied with.

"Treasure Hunting" - Leigh and Carys

Nik*, the beginning of dozha*, the season of nonstop rain. Leigh tried his best to usually change Carys' mind when she wanted to set out of the reservation after curfew but she was just as any young Unoro vesna*, she was stubborn. If they were caught, they'd be shot dead by the Bakti patrol. Leigh ran with her through the muddy field towards Wide River. Carys began to hop the stones with ease where Leigh followed behind her. "Carys, I don't think this is safe tonight. The guards are patrolling more than usual at this end," Leigh spoke loud enough to be heard over the rain. "Why don't we wait until things have died down with the guards?"

The red shem-ya* girl laughed as her feet landed on the opposing bank, "C'mon, Leigh! It's an outing, just like all the other times we've snuck out. A few extra shun* aren't gonna ruin our fun. Just remember, if one of us goes down, keep running!" Leigh steadied himself as he nearly slipped joining her on the other side, "Don't joke like that! I don't want to think about that sort of stuff. It makes my stomach hurt."

She hugged him close despite the rain where Leigh squeezed her in return, "Don't worry, Leigh. We're always careful." Carys pressed a kiss to his lips then held his cheeks.

"Okay. I guess we can do one more before the rain gets any worse," Leigh spoke softly in response as he looked towards the looming wall of the reservation where guards were more active than usual. "The drones I fixed up should be able to keep an eye on them as we look for some good wood and gems."

Indo'fa, from Unoro folklore. A spirit of an Unrested* woman, often stated to be barren or pregnant by differing sources, who wanders noyy-zari* late at night. She can be warded off with Finger Herb but, it's best to avoid noyy-zari when she is present. If she sees you, avoid eye contact and flee to an Earthen* space. Disregarding all advice, Indo'fa will deafen her victims with a piercing shriek to drag them into Jansuang*.
