It took a moment before her eyes fluttered open, hearing the constant muttering to God. âOwâŠâŠ.â She croaked, blinking a few times.Â
At that moment the foot of her body twitched before it began to help itself up blindly, struggling to get back up onto its feet.
And then Antonio promptly shat himself.
Figuratively, of course; the alternative would have been much grosser. Instead, âshitting oneselfâ here pertains to the inordinate amount of screaming and crying that went on â mostly from Antonio â and the zombie-like shuffling and bumping into random bits of furniture â mostly from Aoifeâs decapitated body.
âHoly shit holy shit holy shit holy shit holy shitâ!â Antonio sobbed, huddling himself in a corner and wielding a dingy vase in case he needed to defend himself from Aoifeâs not-quite-dead quasi-carcass, âwhat the fuck!â
âOi! Oi, mateâŠmate mateâŠâŠmateâŠâŠ.seriouslyâŠ.mate. OkâŠâŠ..â She huffed waiting until most of the screaming and most of the holy shits were done. And there when her body walking into every sharp corner of funiture there was. Yes, she will feel that in the morning.
âOi, oi mate. Ya done freaking out. Ok breath. I understand this is something oddâŠand unusualâŠbut this is perfectly normal aye? Now breath in and outâŠ.and then pick me up before my body goes stumbling about aye?â
What in the actual fuck was going on?
Toni took a few deep breaths, as instructed, and shakily picked Aoifeâs disembodied head up from the ground. Oh my god. Thatâs disgusting. He could legitimately see her vertebrae--
Okay, now was the best time to not throw up. He tried to keep his bile down, holding Aoife (or rather her head) as far away from himself as possible.
