Or so the Swedes say, it roughly translates into luck while having bad luck. Something bad happens, but in the end it twists around for good luck at the end.
The slow internet yesterday was one of those examples. It took me about ten minutes to post one journal for the Majestic Journals. And then another ten when I wanted to post the Secret Journals. It's not fun, I can only load facebook and Hotmail without much effort and oh how I hate facebook. Can't even load Farmville, which is the one and only reason why i even sign in onto Facebook anymore.
The 20kb a second is also quite hellish for my downloads. Sunday to Monday night is a busy night. Following several shows, The Game of Thrones has a new episode out. As well as Vikings, as well as Bob's Burgers and it's oh so very painful to wait. Game of Thrones has been downloading for 3 hours, and intends to go for another seven more. Then I've got to download Vikings. At least Bob's is downloaded.
But let me get to the point with the whole luck while having bad luck thing.
I've got an email from my internet provider. The slow internet is a temporarily fault of theirs. Which is to last until May 3rd when it's fixed again. Four more days until speedy internet and boy am I looking forward to it.
In the draft, there is one more journal, which shall be posted tonight. Until then? No more Journals until May the 5th! May the 5th, all of you may wonder now. That doesn't quite make sense, not if the internet returns on May the 3rd, am I right?
Here is where the luck for me comes in again. I found out yesterday, that my father is coming on an unexpected visit to Belgium tomorrow. On a whim and on an impulse, and he wants to spend a lot of time together. So I wont be able to be around all that much to make new journals and all of that stuff.
He leaves again on May the 5th, that's why there wont be anything until then. Believe it or not, there is a lot of work behind running these two blogs, as much as I love them all and I love you guys, but the effort is tremendous Especially when the Windows computer you own which has photoshop is falling apart to pieces (I am not joking), there is an error with the graphic card (imagine that while working with graphics and giffing) and it all of a sudden crashes or decides to re-instal itself back to factory settings (yes, it did that). I clutched my heart when it re-installed itself back to factory settings as I saw the life flash past my eyes. I didn't care much over all the old files on it, I've moved the most important stuff and all.
What I did care about, was The Hobbit. The Fellowship of The Ring, The Two Towers and The Return of The King.
With my files, those four movies come up to 53 gigabyte people. It took me a month to download all of them. I was terrified, even more as there is no chance for me to save them on my harddrive, which is synced to the Mac, and thus isn't read by a windows comp. And my usb stick can only handle 4 gigabyte.
But I've rambled on a lot with this now, more then I originally intended to do, my apologies for that. I just wanted to give you all a reason why things is like things are. I don't like keeping you all waiting. One update a day is a nice thing to do, and I know what it's like to see blogs you enjoy not update like they promise to. I've been terrible with that lately, with moving and being sick and all of that stuff. My sincerest apologies!
TL;DR! 30th to 5th no Journal update, due to father being back in the country and internet issues!
