A pedantically long tangent and spoilers ahead!

Here is my long overdue review grievance with Yosuke’s finale. Compared to the other 4 guys, I may have enjoyed his story the most however that doesn't mean that it didn't have its faults.

I'd also like to preface this by saying that I do not hate Taki. My problem is that I don't like what the writers did with his character in Yosuke's route. And instead of having Yosuke worry about Taki's looming shadow over his relationship for 3 seasons (4, if you count One Night in Purgatory), I think they should have spent more of their word count fleshing out the Amatsuka family better, especially since Sakuto/Blood Moon's route got cancelled. I do have some things to say about Jekyll and Hyde over here as well but that's for another day.

Season 6: Married in Paradise (Episode 7)

I found this entire scene so aggravating to read through. Taki offers her a job opportunity. Okay, he also threatens to destroy Amatsuka Holdings if she doesn't choose him and then tries to force the MC to wear the ring he brought her when she turns him down for nth time.

The MC couldn't have said it any better with "Why would Taki be the only one capable of fulfilling my dreams?" All I could think here was "You know who else disregarded the MC's feelings and started deciding things for her by themselves? Her ex-husband."

After reading Taki's finale, I couldn't help but side-eye Taki even more in the scene above. He says that because of Yosuke's position, the MC would have to carry on being a housewife.

But Taki is also in a high-level position. And contrary to what is said here, at the end of Taki's story, the MC isn't restricted to being a housewife. She becomes a famous chef; She's on TV, she publishes her own cookbooks and helping other ladies learn how to cook. The third thing is almost like what she was doing alongside Sakuto in Yosuke's Season 4.5 and 5.

And obviously this is wonderful for the MC, especially after everything she’s endured. But what sort of restrictions does Yosuke have here that Taki doesn't have and since when was Yosuke ever the type to let anything stop him?

They're both CEOs, they're ultra-wealthy and well connected. More importantly both of these guys encourage the MC to be greedy and they would have no problem helping the MC achieve her dreams.

Season 6: Married in Paradise (Hearts in Paradise Ending)

Yosuke's family wanted him to inherit the company and live as Yosuke Amatsuka. But he continues using the surname Sagara after this. And nothing ends up happening to him and the MC. Throughout Yosuke's route, things have always worked out in their favour even if it was difficult. So there is no proper explanation given for why getting married to Yosuke would be more restrictive than marrying Taki.

Season 4: Live-in Lover (Episode 6)

And this is where I believe there was a missed opportunity to delve deeper into the Amatsuka family. If this family really is complicated and poses a threat to their relationship, show us!

What sort of obstacles would the rest of the family have created considering Yosuke's past, lineage and his role as the eldest, or does Yosuke face any repercussions for his bride-brokering business?

And don't even get me started on how his childhood has been handled.

Season 3 was, "Your life long trauma around home-cooked food was all because you never tried to communicate with your step-mother about your preferences."

Here it's, "Well you're the eldest so we needed to be strict with you to prepare you for inheriting the company! But let's ignore the fact that your little brother was clearly treated differently.”

Married in Paradise (Episode 5)

Yosuke may have misinterpreted his situation as a child but that nor does his step-mother’s response, excuse the following:

You're really telling me that his role as the eldest son justified this treatment or loneliness he felt? Yosuke's father, who was supposedly overjoyed about his birth and loved his biological mother enough for her to write an entire page about their romance in her final letter, went on to ignore him just like that?

Of course Sumire couldn't force Yosuke to accept her a new mother and I understand that after his father and her first son pass away she's dealing with her own grief and managing the company but I hate how all of this was framed as a failure to connect mainly on Yosuke's end when he was a child and she was the adult.

I wish the writers had leaned more into addressing this properly and given him the opportunity to tackle other aspects of his childhood like his grief over losing both of his parents, how he was treated by other family members (he makes a very brief mention of his grandfather in his Season 5 POV). But no Yosuke, let's spend several episodes across Seasons 4, 5 and 6 fretting about Taki coming to steal your girl...

If you got this far, you might be wondering "If you like this character so much then why would you say this about his route? Why are you always ranting and overanalysing this game?" Because there is so much wasted potential here and I believe you can have media that you love and still be able to criticise it. I’m sooo fun at parties, can you believe it And also because when I still had the motivation to write fanfic I found myself getting frustrated over these things.

I know there are still a couple of VIP stories and one More story that have yet to be released (which I will probably gush about once those are out) but aside from that, I'm not really sure what my future plan is for this blog at the moment. There's a couple of fanfics that I wrote 2-4 years ago which I would like to rework so maybe I’ll share those one day.

Anyways I am glad that we finally got some closure and unless Voltage has other plans for this title, which is highly unlikely, this will be the last time you see me complaining. I will get around to my speculations about Blood Moon soon, but thanks for reading this.

Also, I completely relate to you saying you're not sure what your future plan for the blog is. I feel similarly. I used to be semi-interested in KBTBB and very into KoP for a while there, but after Voltage's:

a) Ignoring the MANY good titles b) Over-doing for some good titles c) Pumping out new titles/stories with similar premises, less character and personality variety, more expensive stories for less chapter length/cgs/any other benefits

I lost interest. I go back to the app once in a while (once in a year? half a year? I don't even know anymore) to re-read my SITS, MLFK and sometimes OISY stories.

Very random, but since Voltage is a publicly listed company, their annual reports and key financial performance data is available online, and I wanted to do a quick financial analysis as one last hurrah... but I don't know if I'll ever get around to it. Spoilers: The numbers aren't good. Voltage's income from sales/revenue has dropped 20% on average every year from 2021-2025. Their operating income has gone down from 159 (million, i think?) yen in 2021 to 15 mn yen in 2025. Their profits after tax have gone down from 163 mn yen in 2021 to 13 mn yen in 2025. So, sure. They're profitable. But for how long? a) I think the figures are in mn, but I'll have to check b) If i am able to get myself excited enough to actually do this, I'll... see you then?

Hello, hello!

I’m Zela, an INTP who has been a part of the Love365 world for quite a while now.

I fell into this abyss when I played Eisuke’s route from Kissed by the Baddest bidder - my first otome game, actually - and I haven’t dared to look back out since.

I’m currently obsessed with Kings of Paradise. Specifically, Taki <3 (though Riku - from Codename: Cupid is a close second!)

Coffee is necessary for survival and I might quite literally swear by it. Don’t look at me, I’m caffeine dependent okay…

I absolutely love winters. Yes, my hands might be freezing. Yes, I might be terrified of stepping into that cold-cold shower, but as long as I have an excuse for not getting out of the damn bed at 8 AM, you know I’m going to stick by it.

I’m pretty good at generating puns. Yep, I’ve been told I don’t make them, I generate them.

I love watching crime-based shows (probably why i have a murderous brain), and am currently obsessed with Criminal on Netflix. So if you watch it too, you know where to find me if you want to talk about it.

I enjoy reading a good BL comic, and my reading list has probably reached Pluto by now, so if you’ve got completed BL suggestions l e t   m e   k n o w

Random, but I cannot cook. I’m literally the worst at it. Don’t ask me to make you something or you will quite seriously regret it.

I promise I make good coffee though. I mean, whatever it takes, right?

Almost 6 since this post and so many things have changed. Let's see... A little on what has not changed: Still love winters, still like Criminal on Netflix (if you enjoy watching chill interrogations without the violence and blood and gore, give it a go! Criminal creates a pretty good eerie ambience). I do adore BL still. Currently head over heels for Our Sunny Days <3 What has changed:

I am far less active on Tumblr. Or any social media (discord, pinterest, instagram, the works). I have no idea what made me make this post - maybe it's the contrast between then and now that surprised me?

I have looked back from L365. I check the app once every few months, and mostly stick to SITS or OISY when I do. I don't feel as connected to L365 (the app, the stories, the characters, etc.) as I once did.

In line with that, not obsessed with Taki or KoP anymore. Riku is still a great character, but it's not like I have anything other than his main story and epilogue to read. :/

Coffee is no longer necessary for survival. AND I CAN COOK! I bake, too!

So, what do I do with my time now?

Well, I am still a student, and that unfortunately takes up most of my time. When I am not busy struggling with my assignments, thesis, and submissions, I:

Play games - my Steam Library consists of escape games (Forgotten Hill, Rusty Lake), nostalgic games (Among Us, Papa's Freezeria), and cozy games (Is this seat taken?, Pico Park). I also play Astoria: Fate's Kiss, every now and then. I strongly recommend FH and Rusty Lake for lore and escape-game enthusiasts.

I read - or, well, I'm trying to get away from my phone and back into reading. My usual choices are thrillers, M/M romance, sci-fi, political books, and the like.

I dabble in a bit of photography.

I lurk on Tumblr every now and then.

There's likely more, but that's all I can come up with for now. :'D

So, that's it. I still don't know what motivated me to write this. It may be because I'm considering blogging/writing on Tumblr again to give myself a reason to pick up writing again, but a quick heads-up: IF that happens (and it's a biiiig IF), I will most likely do one of two things: start a new blog, or pivot this one from L365 to other topics of my interest.

Realistically and most likely, I'll go back to being a lurker. But we'll see.

new year, new musings | thoughts for KPDH 2 - if i could get myself to write it, that is.

happy new year!

In a nutshell: I am sloooowly getting into kpdh and even though I haven't watched the movie (i refuse to, till the next one comes out), I know the plot and have been jamming to the songs. I have this urge to write a continuation of the movie but i don't know if/when I'll find the time and motivation, so here is the basic plot and related songs I had in my head. For the sake of my inability to write lyrics, we'll pretend these already known songs would be written by characters lol. [BEWARE OF SPOILERS - OF COURSE.]

Chapter 1: Jinu's resurrection (Dancing with your Ghost, Sasha Alex Roan) Although Jinu and Rumi knew each other for a very short while, there was clearly something there. She believed in him even when he betrayed her, she was basically looking at him when she sang 'This is what it sounds like,' as if speaking to him, beseeching him. She shed a tear when he sacrificed himself. So, even though she is much happier with her gang after the events of KPDH, I want to believe a part of her still misses him. I imagine Rumi sitting by herself at the place where they met for their "date," as the silence settles around her like fine dust. Derpy and Sussie are around. She sings 'Dancing with your Ghost' by Sasha Alex Roan, maybe keeping her sword between her feet, her head touching the flat surface of the sword. As she sings, some magic happens (more details for when I actually watch the movie and figure out what kind of magic), the sword shines, and lo and behold... Jinu appears.

Chapter 2: Rescuing the Saja Boys (Someone to You, BANNERS) Jinu and Rumi have their cute reunion, they go back to tell Mira and Zoey, and maybe that's when Jinu shares more about Gwi-Ma and the demon world. Something along the lines of how Gwi-Ma doesn't exactly eat the souls and they become nothing after, but how Gwi-Ma sucks their life/energy and turns them into empty shells or bottles - so technically, there's a way to transfer the souls back to the demons if a message strong enough to bring some willpower into them was created, I guess? Think of it like transferring energy/souls between two owners. Going off of the fandom lore that the picture in the doctor's office was one of Saja Boys, Jinu and HUNTR/X work together to develop a core message that would get through to the boys. They do some digging, and find out that the rest of the Saja Boys wanted to be singers, and were struggling to become a boy-band. Maybe a sad backstory about how they had no family, so they wanted fans to be someone to whom they could belong. This gives rise to 'Someone to You' by BANNERS. A song pleading the Saja Boys to remember how they didn't want to fade away, how they wanted to be somebody to someone, how they wanted to be important to someone. Cut to them finding a way to go to demon world. After the Saja Boys failing their grand plan and being defeated by HUNTR/X at the Namsan Tower, I don't think Gwi-Ma would just let them be. Imagine a scene about how they're being tortured with memories (Gwi-Ma giving 5% of their souls back JUST so they could hear him and painful memories), and the like. The day Jinu and HUNTR/X reach, it's just in time for them to see Gwi-Ma doing some sort of a public soul-execution level bullshit, where the four of them are about to have their spirits broken beyond repair. Gwi-Ma has decided he doesn't need them ever again, so he doesn't care. Or something. Cut 2.0 to them singing 'Someone to You' by BANNERS and rescuing the Saja Boys! Of course, this is the demon world so Gwi-Ma has a lot more control and Jinu and HUNTR/X are unable to rescue anyone else. They break through to Saja Boys, weaken Gwi-Ma just enough to escape with the rest of the 4 of them.

Chapter 3: Baby Saja & Mystery's Betrayal So, everyone's rescued, Saja Boys & HUNTR/X are back in action. However, there's a caveat (of course there is). Baby Saja gives me selfish li'l meanie vibes, and Mystery Saja is his perfect partner-in-crime. Both are in need of a redemption arc. We'll conveniently imagine Baby as being one of Gwi-Ma's favourites, and in his hunt for attention and prestige, he would still betray his 'friends.' He convinces Mystery to back him up on his plan. While HUNTR/X and Jinu, Abby and Romance try to come up with a plan to defeat Gwi-Ma, Baby and Mystery, under the guise of working with Zoey (on a rap, or lyrics, or whatever), manipulate her. They convince her that they overheard how Gwi-Ma had a certain weakness in the human world - a specific place, a specific relic, a specific stone, whatever it is. The three of them agree to explore it themselves first before telling the others. Zoey decides to trust them because she wants to a) trust them and b) not put added pressure on Rumi and Mira, who she thinks are already going through a lot. Typical miscommunicate trope. Oops. Or is it? Anyway, Baby, Mystery and Zoey go to that place, and lo and behold, Gwi-Ma is there in some form to capture Zoey. Baby and Mystery betray her, but before Gwi-Ma can take Zoey, Rumi and Mira come out from the shadows to fight Gwi-Ma. Why? Because Zoey was smart enough to actually tell them the whole thing before she left lmfao.

Chapter 4: Dramatic Recovery Anyway, Gwi-Ma, angered by the double-crossing, throws Rumi and Mira off and instead betrays Baby and Mystery instead by turning itself on them. They're shocked to realise that, alas, Gwi-Ma does not care about them and would turn its back on them any day if it meant it could get away. As Gwi-Ma prepares to strike at Baby (the one in need of more redemption imo), Zoey throws herself in between and gets hurt. Zoey kind of sacrifices herself (and Baby has a oh-she'd-do-that-for-me-how-could-I-ever-betray-her moment). However, before any major damage happens, Mystery attacks Gwi-Ma with Rumi and Mira. Baby pulls Zoey to safety, although Zoey is physically hurt to a certain extent. She falls unconscious while slowly gasping out the chorus of 'If You Need Me' by Julia Michaels. Mystery and Baby absolutely go above and beyond to help Zoey recover, and even come up with a song to nurse her back to health. Maybe 'Kaleidoscope' by A Great Big World? But it's fairly cheerful, so maybe they sing it when Zoey starts regaining some of her strength. Maybe between Mystery's and Baby's betrayal and Zoey's recovery, there can be a mini arc about Mira being absolutely pissed off, not trusting anyone, VERY angry at the Saja Boys, and how Romance and Abby convince her to have faith in them? I'm not too sure.

Chapter 5: Final Fight (Shine a Light, KAYNAH/A New Way, MORGXN) Finally, all of them work together, come up with a plan to weaken Gwi-Ma enough that all souls giving him power and transferred back to the ghosts. I imagine them finding some way to do a whole-ass concert. Maybe they start in little pockets, weakening Gwi-Ma bit by bit, and it all culminates in one big concert. Key songs being: - Shine a Light by KAYNAH - A New Way by MORGXN - Others songs I can't think of rn. Gwi-Ma tries to stop them, of course, but with demons getting enough will to pull their souls back bit by bit, Gwi-Ma weakens (in power and in physical manifestation) till it's nothing but a tiny little flame that gets blown out. welp. This way, all the people who went 'missing' also get to return.

Chapter 6: Post-Credits Idk, some cute scenes between the Saja Boys and HUNTR/X? Songs in my head which I would use: - Paper Planes by Elina - Like This by Jake Scott - Dancing in the Kitchen by LANY - Shut up by Greyson Chance - All my Life by WILD - Losing Me by Gabrielle Alpin, JP Cooper - Miles to Your Heart by Sultan+Shepard, Rock Mafia, Bahari - For Life (EXO, Eng Version) [Many other songs from my playlists. But anyway.]

This... ended up being much longer than I anticipated it would be lol. I'm fully aware that my musings could be absolutely out of canon since I haven't watched the movie, but I feel like I've watched enough compilations, reels and youtube videos to know a teeny tiny bit.

I forgot how I had ideas for exploring what each of the Saja Boys represents (Jinu - selling your soul ig; abby - sexualisation; romance - parasocial relationships and over romanticisation; mystery - invasion of privacy; baby - infantalization). I think I'll maybe add a 2.0 version in addition to this or edit this later covering that as well.

Basically, I wanted to brainstorm and work out how each of those meanings may also manifest as the insecurities the Saja Boys actively face/battle with, and how they come to terms with it in their own way.

tbh I think eisuke is better than Taki because he has more of a character development, wouldn't you agree?

Hey there, anon! Lmao that’s a kind of a controversial question you’ve asked me haha

Disclaimer: What’s written below is my own humble opinion, it’s not meant to hate on, or disregard, or disrespect anyone intentionally.

I’m going to have to say I disagree. And by saying I disagree, I am not, in the least bit, trying to state the counter: that Taki is better than Eisuke. If someone said that, I’d disagree then too. And that’s because of one simple reason, that Taki and Eisuke are two separate individuals with very, very different personalities and it’s wrong to compare them on the basis of character development, according to me. 

Here’s why:

1. Statue vs Rust Now, here’s a way to look at it. Eisuke’s character development is like making a statue, whereas Taki’s is like removing the rust. When it comes to Eisuke, his character development starts at a point where he doesn’t even know half the human emotions that exist, like love, care, affection, et cetera. He doesn’t invest his time in them because he’s never felt much of them, and the MC, over a period of time, has to make him understand what those emotions mean and how important they are. He gets introduced to a world he never knew, in a sense. That’s precisely why Eisuke has so much scope for development, too. In a metaphorical sense, it’s like the KBTBB MC meets a stone Eisuke and over a period of time, and after putting in tonnes of affection, hard work, and care, sculpts him into a beautiful statue. She slowly works on the intricate details and makes him into who he is now. Now, if you look at Taki, the scope for his character development is limited in this sense (I’ll elaborate on that in a bit). With him, it’s like polishing the rust off of something. When it comes to his story line, he is very different in terms of knowing emotions as compared to Eisuke because he has already felt emotions like love, care, affection, et cetera. In his teenage years, he was a very charming and kind individual who knew those feelings well. But, due to the misunderstanding with MC and the debt situation, he felt like those emotions aren’t meant to be felt, that they are a hindrance. He purposefully chose to mask over what he felt because he knew the price of letting them out. Here, MC’s task was to remove that facade, and she made him realise it’s okay to feel those feelings. It was like removing a thick layer of rust to allow his inner self to shine through. In simpler terms, it’s like letting something which was already there come up to the surface, instead of shaping it from scratch, like what happens with Eisuke.

Even if you look at their MS’, you’ll notice that Eisuke, by the end of his MS is still pretty bland whereas Taki has more of a feel to him. He smiles more, he’s more honest, and it’s like bringing a teenage Taki back.

2. Varying Scopes Eisuke’s stories are more about him coming to terms with his emotions and realizing he feels things which he didn’t even know he felt. More like, Eisuke’s story line’s central theme, in most cases, is working on his character development from an emotional point of view. It focuses on how Eisuke feels, and grows that into something more. Whereas with Taki, his stories aren’t about his character development with respect to feeling new emotions and dealing with them. His character development is linked to coming to terms with his past and allowing himself to feel what he denied feeling for so many years. That’s one reason why you won’t find a lot with Taki in terms of his emotional development with respect to feeling new things.

3. History does repeat itself With Eisuke and MC, it’s important to note that they didn’t know each other at all prior to that fateful meeting at the hotel lobby. They probably hadn’t even talked much and their relationship started from square one. So it’s kind of understandable why Eisuke would still keep his walls up for a LONG time. It takes a while for Eisuke and MC to work through obstacles and establish a degree of trust between them with respect to each other. Whereas with Taki, MC and him already share a history. They were high school sweethearts and Taki and MC both know what the other person was like, and can decipher from a mere few moments that neither of them has changed much over the years, except for having a higher wall around them, owing to their experiences with life in the past. Once Taki and MC realise who the other is, it’s a little bit of awkwardness before they both allow themselves to settle in and be comfortable around each other (even banter a lot lol), because they essentially do know the other person well. Because of that, there’s already a certain degree of trust established between Taki and MC right from the middle of his MS Season 1. That, in turn, leaves less of character development in terms of his relationship with MC when it comes to Taki.

4. Family Backgrounds It’s also important to look at how different their backgrounds are. Eisuke hails from a reputable family, and was adopted into a super rich family as a kid too. He has always dealt with two-faced people and has always had a much more luxurious life from the start. What I’m trying to say is, Eisuke’s not bothered to concern himself with emotions from the very beginning because that’s what’s been ingrained into him from his childhood. Also, because he’s been ultra rich from the start, the MC has more work to do when it comes to making him realise money ain’t everything, my guy. Now with Taki, he has very humble origins. He came from a very normal family, and knows what it’s like to live with just enough money (not being ultra rich, I mean). He was a very normal guy in high school with a very warm group of friends, an incredible girlfriend who he was in love with and a very humble life. His attachment to money came with the debt, when he realised as long as you have money, you have power and as long as you have power, you have everything. MC’s task here was to take him back to his teenage days and make him understand that sometimes, it’s the less expensive things which give you more happiness. 

5. Old Habits Die Hard Now, let’s look at their interactions with the MC. If you’ve noticed, Eisuke is very... hm, how should I put it... non-slangy + formal in the way he speaks. To make more sense of this, Eisuke is very proper when he speaks, and he doesn’t use a lot of phrases like “Man, you’re...” or “God, that was....”. And that’s because it’s been ingrained into him. Eisuke’s vocabulary is very prim and proper and non-slangy because that’s what he’s been taught since childhood. It makes him seem more like a robot, in a sense in the very beginning, in my opinion. Gives him a less relatable vibe, basically (and I mean no hate). Whereas if you look at Taki’s stories, he often uses a lot of phrases like, “God, you’re cute.” or “Man, that was something.” and that’s mainly just his high school, boy next door self showing its form. It makes him more relatable and human in my opinion, and those slangs are what show the reader that yes, the Teenage Taki still exists in there.

6. Won’t Lose You As stated previously, Eisuke hadn’t even known the MC exists till they met in the hotel lobby in the prologue. So when Eisuke and MC start dating, it’s with a perspective of “Okay, now she is my girlfriend.”, which doesn’t allow Eisuke to be very open about his feelings from the start. In case you’re confused, hang in there and let me explain Taki’s side to help you understand better. Now, Taki is MC’s ex. Someone who was very in love with her. Still is. He knows what it’s like to lose the MC, for he had already lost her once, and would do anything and everything to NOT lose her again. Thus, he is relatively more open with his emotions. He let’s her know how much he loves her, values her, cares for her, because he doesn’t want to let her go again, ever.

7. Okay, Let’s Be Direct Eisuke is a very “actions speak louder than words” person. He isn’t very open with his emotions, heck he doesn’t even say “i love you” till MC demands it out of him lmao. He is very indirect in terms of expressing what he feels for the MC, even in his later stories, and it takes time for him to come to terms with the word “love”, in general. If you look at Taki, he has been very direct from the start. Even in high school when he confessed to MC he went “I like you.” and in his MS when MC asked him why he kissed her, he said “Because I love you.” right on her face. In KBTBB, the MC is a normal person with a fulfilling life, she gets sold in the auctions, meets the auction managers and her journey starts from there. In KBTBB, MC has to mainly deal with the stress that comes with throwing herself into the dangerous life Eisuke and the other lead, and apart from that her life doesn’t really have much of an angst. In the sense, that none of the action managers have to actually deal with the MC and her emotions, per say. In KoP, the MC goes through a divorce which basically leaves her mentally shattered. She self-doubts and and constantly keeps worrying about what did she do wrong which made things end up the way they did. Here, while the KoP guy and and MC fall in love, it’s also about helping MC realise what happened was not her fault entirely. It’s about connecting deeper, much deeper, on an emotional level with the MC, which gives Taki a sort of a head start when it comes to character development in terms of bonding with the MC. ... I hope that made sense lol

im so bored so here are some headcanons bec i love being desi

• he hates it when he has to wait and initially when you started dating you tried your best to be on time whenever he paged you but as your relationship progressed, its game over. whenever u have to go out, you ALWAYS leave at the the desi time and he slowly got so used to it, the one and only time punctual eisuke was late to events.

• eisuke has a massive sweet tooth so when you first made him kheer, he absolutely loved it although his only words were ‘not bad’. He definitely asks you to make it again so you feed him other ‘mithai’ (sweets in urdu/hindi) like gulab jamun, rasgullay, JALEBI etc and he loves it so much.

• you make him desi food from time to time and actually requests it like you him ask ‘eisuke what do you want for dinner today?’ and he just says ‘you made nihari last time, it was good. make it again’ he finds it very flavourful.

• he’s very familiar with other cultures since he’s a businessman and often interacts with foreign businessmen. he knows about the clothes and customs of your country. imagine eisuke in kurta or sherwani EISUKE IN A KURTA A BLACK KURTA AT THAT (i would actually die). Whenever you go to family events, you always wear traditional clothes and once eisuke is invited to them, he initially just wears his suit but after some time he starts to indulge you and actually wears your traditional clothes.

• he finds it very sexy when you talk and swear in your mother language.

• eisuke is multilingual (as its mentioned in the story) so if he doesnt know your mother langauge he would DEFINITELY learn and boy his pronunciation would be so good (thats a perfectionist for you)

• he says he hates bollywood movies because theyre so extra but thats a lie. whenever u play something like ‘kabhi khushi kabhi gham’ or ‘kal ho na ho’ he always watches it with you because he’s intrigued but ALWAYS says ‘this movie is so bad i wonder why you waste time watching this stuff’

• you go around singing bollywood songs or songs in your mother tongue around the penthouse and he just enjoys it so much but he definitely wont say it out loud

• eisuke was FLABBERGASTED when you told him or rather showed him a desi wedding like why is everyone wearing such fancy clothes ??? and he’s even more surprised when he finds out there’s actually three days to a wedding and even more pre wedding events.

• he loves it when you wear mehndi on your hands, he sees mehndi as something that adorns your hand and whenever u apply it, he brings your hand up to his face and smells it because he loves thr scent.

• when you told him about all your family and by that i mean family on your mother’s and father’s side, he has to do a double take because why the fuck do you have SO many cousins? he’s trying to keep up but there’s just so many.

• your parents love him more than you. they literally said it to your face ‘oh my, such a handsome boy, how did you ever end up with our incompetent daughter’ you cannot convince me that this wont happen.

• baba asks you to teach him bhangra and other desi dance steps and you, ota and baba have the time of your life dancing to chammak challo and nach punjaban in the penthouse lounge and eisuke just looks at you like youre comitting a crime

a little something for myself bec im a self indulgent bitch (not exactly a desi headcanon but i wanted to add this)

• every eid you spend with him, he makes sure to spoil you thoroughly. he gives you so much eidi (literally) like he straight up handed you car keys once and went ‘eid mubarak ___, i know you’ve been waiting for your eidi’ and then he just smirks while you think what did you do to deserve so much. he enjoys eid festivities with you and eid ul fitr is his favourite eid.

This post is bringing out the 25% Punjaban and 25% Tamilian in me. If you get it, you get it. If you don't, you soon will (this is going to be extremely self indulgent, so bear with me)-

If the MC is indeed desi, it is a canon event that gajar ka halwa has been made for Eisuke during winters. I don't make the rules, it is the most elite winter dessert to ever exist. (To add on: the recipe that MC used was naani di recipe <33333.)

Eisuke in a black kurta - scratch that, any 2D guy in a black kurta? Hae mai mar jaawa. Bet MC does the whole "tennu kisi di nazar na lage" hand thingy and Eisuke finds it extremely adorable.

They have watched Jab We Met. MC probably fawned over Aditya Kashyap (who wouldn't tbh) and Eisuke got jealous. The rest is history.

MC has def made traditional rice dishes (sambar rice/curd rice/biryani/the good ol' daal chawal/rajma chawal). Eisuke has seen her eating with her hands and asked her to feed him the same way. (MC making those bite-sized grais and feeding it to him is the cutest shit ever.)

The mehendi bit is sending me and ending me. It's my weak spot and you found it @eisukevint. I'm here for an evening of Eisuke trying to find his initials in her mehendi which she just hid for fun. Ah also, the gang heard about the 'the darker your mehendi becomes, the deeper your love for your s/o is' lore and of course they tease MC about it every time.

Bhangra is one thing - let's imagine MC being a trained classical dancer (Kathak/Bharatanatyam/etc). Eisuke, our man here, would be smitten with her precision, grace, and elegance. So proud. He'd find the aalta beautiful and would not miss any opportunity to kiss the little red circle in the middle of her palm every time he went to grab her hand. He'd also find the sound of her ghungroos as she practiced very soothing.

Whenever Eisuke and MC travel to her home country, she makes him try the street food (much to his apparent dismay). He does end up loving the taste, but refuses to admit it.

Self indulgent: he loves helping MC with her weekly hair care. He denies it and calls it a "chore", but he loves, loves, loves running his fingers through her hair while massaging some oil into them.

Thinking about all the little ways in which he'd be involved in her culture and she'd be involved in his <3. GAH.
