2025 already oops
its uh
been a while hasn't it lol
despite the time that's passed i haven't abandoned this blog, i've just been Very Mentally Ill over my other interests (some folks here might know already lmao)
and fun fact i actually have the next plot part completely lined! it's just a matter of making myself haul ass to color and finish it, pokemon is one of those interests of mine that comes and goes and with it is the motivation to work on pokemon related content, ill always adore it but it's a matter of when that spark will come again
i promise this blog's story will continue despite the constant long pauses, and i'm forever thankful for anyone who still holds interest and is willing to be patient with me
for now though, if you want to keep up with my other content you can head over to my art blog @monipandas, right now the brainrot is entirely on cookie run so that's what youll see the most of lol
but yeah, count this as a little life update, i'm still around, i still draw a LOT even if it's not for here, and i still check here everyday to see what everyone else is up to even if i haven't updated myself in ages, i don't plan on disappearing permanently, and i'll come back to this story someday

2023 was certainly a Time, and i don't really have a whole lot to say but i am thankful for this community for being so welcoming and showing interest in my story, even with my hella sporadic activity in terms of posting asks and plot LMAO
i'm always checking in everyday to see what everyone else posts tho so i'm most certainly not dead, im just a hobby artist who draws 200 different things alongside working on this blog lel
also i just noticed that as of august 2022 it's been more than a year since i started this blog, time flies by so quickly smh, but it's been fun regardless and i hope it continues to be fun uwu
Andrea: Where are the humans though, you know, people like Giovanni, Archer, and the Rocket grunts? I find it unusual for people who exploit Pokémon for the benefit of their organization to leave the facility in charge in said Pokémon. In fact, did you guys have trainers here; if so, who are they?
Andrea: "You don't believe the clones and hybrids here created themselves, now do you?"
"The Rocket Grunts don't live here like most of us do. They have their own bases of operation to stay at, especially since a lot of them are sent out to several regions across the sea. As for the big bosses like Giovanni? He mostly oversees everything we do. I've only seen him in person once in my life, so I don't know where he comes or goes but we're the ones who do most of his dirty work."
"Pokemon are simply beneficial for certain jobs, as well as communication, especially when it comes to important missions and the like. That's why some of us are put in charge of specific things like training rookies, and healing the wounded."
"Many Pokemon here do have trainers, while others don't. It all depends on how they ended up at Team Rocket to begin with. Plus the Grunts never leave without taking their own Pokemon with them."
"Cascade and Fievel weren't captured, they were created. Because of that, they don't have specific trainers that "own" them. But that doesn't mean they don't interact with humans. Obviously, the human scientists played the main role in creating them in the first place, so they closely monitor them to see if everything is still going well, as well as discussing whatever plans they have for them in the near and far future."
"As for me, I was captured in a Pokeball when I was young. So I suppose I do have a "trainer" of sorts. But seeing as I've been in charge of the rookie Pokemon here in my senior days, I haven't spent time around them in a very long time. Ultimately, the humans are also the ones who write out and assign missions to Pokemon who go out by themselves without the Grunts, my main contribution there is to simply hand those missions to them and report back successes and failures. Though, sometimes, I do get the chance of picking out the Pokemon I think are best suited for specific missions as I have the most personal experience with many of them. They trust me to make the best choice."

What point is there in talking to Andrea about it? It's not like those humans can hear her make a plea for you out of the kindness of her heart. What they see is your continued lack of progress. What they see is you just crumpling into a heap on the practice field. Still stuck as a Pichu after time and hours put into it. And you're not going to get any stronger stuck like this, put out for weeks for simply a few minutes 'training' as Fieval's punching bag. You were a breakthrough, but the others were the results they wanted. You... are sorely lacking.
