The samurai could hear the chains as Thresh started walking. No doubt he had his weapon on him. Yasuo started moving, trying to walk next to the reaper.
‘Why am I talking to him like I’m his friend?’ He asked to himself. But then the wanderer realized that they were in the same situation, they both wanted to know about this strange place, and know how to go home once and for all.
He opened his mouth to talk. “So, Thresh, how’s your job doing?”
There was something odd about Yasuo that the warden couldn’t put his finger on, but he decided not to bring it up. Sure, it was nice to have company for a change but it wasn’t like the wanderer. With a gentle shrug, Thresh leads them to the coffee shop and he holds the door open for Yasuo. “After you, my dear,” he said with a laugh.
“Being a divorce attorney is a pain, but I get to torment the prisoners as their warden so one thing makes up for the other I suppose. What about you?” Thresh picks a table on the far side of the shop in the corner, not really caring is Yasuo liked that or not.
Yasuo scowled at the Warden holding the door, “Are you making fun of me?” He sighed and entered anyways, waiting for Thresh to choose a table. Not that he didn’t care, he was just listening the 'wonders' of the reaper’s job.
“I feel bad for those prisioners.” He said while sitting down on the table that Thresh picked. “And what about me?” he echoed, “Well, I’ve been looking for information about this town. But right now I’m looking for a job as a bartender. Part-time job, to be exact.” He chuckled, “I've had no luck so far.”
