Sanguine grinned and gave a thumbs up in return. “I feel now that we’re connected, I should take my leave for now. Let’s stay in touch Okay?~” Sanguine put his phone back into his pocket.

Hearing that, Sponte was kind of glad. Not that Sanguine had been unpleasant to talk to, but they just felt incredibly awkward at the moment and wanted to stop feeling that way. Besides, like he said, they could talk later now that they had each other’s contacts. The human nodded at him.

“Yeah, okay.” They answered. They raised their hand to wave farewell, “Bye.”

Sanguine gave a smile and a bow, before opening a red portal and waved goodbye. “Text you later!~”

Sanguine smiled and traded his phone for Sponte’s, quickly adding a contact number for the Kris, before giving a bow. “I’m delighted to have made your acquaintance!”

Sponte nodded once again and did the same for Sanguine. They weren’t really sure how to respond, but they decided that saying, “Same.” And then doing another thumbs up despite the fact they’ve been doing it a billion times in this interaction alone, was good enough.

Sanguine giggled as his wings flapped. “Well now, I do believe we had a good time here, is it alright if we traded contacts for another time?~” He asked with a warm smile.

Oh. Right. That was probably something they should do. Sponte gave a single nod and fished their phone out of their pocket. They unlocked it and fiddled with it for a few more seconds before turning the screen toward Sanguine and pointed at their cell number that was showing on the screen now.

Sanguine smiled and traded his phone for Sponte’s, quickly adding a contact number for the Kris, before giving a bow. “I’m delighted to have made your acquaintance!”

The angel chuckled softly as they were complimented. “My, that’s flattering to hear Sponte, if you’d like anything else just let me know~”

Sponte only really replied with a nod, and a grunt that sounded vaguely like a, “Yeah.” They shot him another thumbs up. They were getting kind of worried they were doing that too much. It had to be, what, the billionth time they’ve done that in this one interaction? Who knows.

They didn’t particularly want anything at the moment, though. So there was really nothing else they had to say to Sanguine.

Sanguine giggled as his wings flapped. “Well now, I do believe we had a good time here, is it alright if we traded contacts for another time?~” He asked with a warm smile.

Sanguine hummed and bowed for Sponte, his wings flapping merrily. “I’m glad you enjoy my magic!~ It took a little bit of time to perfect you know~” He giggles, standing back up and giving a thumbs up back.

Sponte felt like after such a performance, it would only be appropriate to clap or something, especially seeing him bow like that. Then again, a few seconds had passed since they thought of that idea which probably meant it was socially too late to do that. Oops. Plus, it would feel weird to be one person clapping.

They just gave a little nod. They felt like they should still at least say something. “Yeah. It’s cool.” There, good enough.

The angel chuckled softly as they were complimented. “My, that’s flattering to hear Sponte, if you’d like anything else just let me know~”

Sanguine bounced a little as he saw the skull explode in a number of colored sparks, becoming a number of shapes and sizes like fireworks! The most notable one was a pair of wings, Sanguine cooing at this, he’s a proud angel!

Sponte had mostly just been rocking a little on the heels of their feet as they looked up at the skull. The firework-like sparks earned a bit of an amazed look from the kid as their eyes widened from underneath their bangs. They were an absolute sucker for pretty things, and this was rather pretty in their eyes. The wings, a nice touch especially. 

They looked back over at Sanguine, offering a bit of a smile and a thumbs up to show they really enjoyed seeing all that.

Sanguine hummed and bowed for Sponte, his wings flapping merrily. “I’m glad you enjoy my magic!~ It took a little bit of time to perfect you know~” He giggles, standing back up and giving a thumbs up back.

Sanguine then rubbed his hands together and shot a red projectile at the skull, enhancing it with a purple aura, the now red skull looked to that of a jagged-toothed screaming one with green flaming eyes. He bows to Sponte, before looking back to watch it rise. “The finale for this combo starts now~” He comments.

Wow. That skull definitely looked cool. Sponte was actually pretty hyped for what would come next as they watched his magic performance with slightly widened eyes. They nodded after his bow. And then shot him a double thumbs up to acknowledge what he said. 

The finale, huh? They couldn’t deny they were interested. The human waited, suspense filling them as they stood by, enjoying themselves.

Sanguine giggles upon hearing them sigh in relief, his palms glowing brighter and brighter, until he shoots into the sky a skull-looking projectile with a green aura. “Now lets get to the good part~” He smiles, now channeling red energies. It was at that moment Sponte could see that a dim red glow was around his cloak, dimming and brightening at the pace of a normal heartbeat.

Sponte simply watched as the glowing got more intense, looking at his palms with anticipation. They didn’t know what was going to happen, but they figured that was the point of watching him do magic stuff anyway. To see what he was doing if it looked cool enough.

They watched as the green glowing skull thing blasted up into the sky. Then tilted their head as they watched the red glow emanating from his cloak. Sponte was silent as they stood as audience, curious to know what he was going to do now.

Sanguine slurps up the cookie, chuckling softly after he swallowed and seeing them only come up with a shrug. “I see with how many choices there are you want me to pick, I hope you enjoy this~” Sanguine answered for Sponte, his skeletal and rusty palms began to glow a dim purple.

Sponte nodded as Sanguine said out loud exactly what they’d been thinking. The most they hoped, however, was that he wouldn’t make fun of them for being so indecisive, or anything. Or try to give them a hard time about it. They already did that enough for themselves. But they breathed a sigh of relief as they heard him continue on with that next sentence.

The human still wanted to see his magic, of course, since he was showing them stuff and it would be bad of them to not watch. So they looked at his palms, watching silently as they saw it glow purple.

Sanguine stretches a bit as hecwas getting stiff, before looking back at Sponte. “Well dear, what kind of magic do you wish to see? I can do from simple light shows to shapeshifting, take your pick~” He answered to them, chomping on s velvet cookie.

At that question, Sponte had to think about it for a few seconds. They hadn’t thought that far ahead. Well, they usually didn’t think ahead anyway. But that was besides the point. They were supposed to pick a type of magic they wanted to see from Sanguine, but honestly, they had no preference to which one they wanted to see. Sponte was pretty bad at making decisions sometimes.

They just watched him eat the cookie for a bit longer before ending with a, in their opinion, really lame shrug. Kind of pathetic, really. They had been thinking for that long and all they could do was shrug and answer with, “Any?”

Sanguine chuckled softly, a smug grin slowly spread across his face as he leaned closer to Sponte. “Why, some magic of course, that’s always fun, no?~” The angel whispered to them before giggling, his wings flapping around.

Sponte thought about his words for a moment. They weren’t sure how to feel about his grinning and giggling from his statement, and although they could admit magic could be kind of fun since they couldn’t use any themselves, they were around monsters for practically all their life. Who, were pretty much made of magic. Even if monsters didn’t use it much these days, it was sort of common enough.

They tilted their head. “What kind of magic.” They asked, looking at him.

Sanguine stretches a bit as he was getting stiff, before looking back at Sponte. “Well dear, what kind of magic do you wish to see? I can do from simple light shows to shapeshifting, take your pick~” He answered to them, chomping on a velvet cookie.

Hearing that from him, Sponte couldn’t deny that they were sort of interested in not being bored. They tended to not do much most days, then ended up going from zero to a hundred on other days. The former tended to not be as fun. 

They tilted their head in curiosity, “How?” They asked him.

Sanguine chuckled softly, a smug grin slowly spread across his face as he leaned closer to Sponte. “Why, some magic of course, that’s always fun, no?~” The angel whispered to them before giggling, his wings flapping around.

Sanguine giggled seeing Sponte in such a good mood, his wings fluttering to life from the joy he had making another Kris friend. “So, have you been up to much dear?~” He asked the Kris politely, genuinely curious.

Sponte only watched his wings fluttering with a small glance before directing their full attention back to his question. They really didn’t know how to answer such a question whenever they were asked stuff like that. Were they up to anything lately? They shrugged. “Nah… Not really.” At least, nothing really came to mind at the moment.

Sanguine gave a nod and a hum. “That’s fine Sponte, just wanted to know is all~ Perhaps I could be of assistance if you are bored?~” The angel offered, a smile spread across his honey face.

Sanguine would blink a bit as Sponte finished, taking the plate and putting it back into his inventory. “Most welcome friend, I’m glad you enjoyed my treats as much as you did!~” Sanguine exclaimed with a smile and giggle, giving Sponte a thumbs up, what a neat Kris.

Sponte simply replied with a nod as he took the plate back. They did smile back a little, put in a pretty good mood from all the cookies they had eaten. Food was a sure way to get on their good side, mostly whenever it was good tasting food, but weird foods were always fun too. They gave a thumbs up back to him in response.

Sanguine giggled seeing Sponte in such a good mood, his wings fluttering to life from the joy he had making another Kris friend. “So, have you been up to much dear?~” He asked the Kris politely, genuinely curious.

“Thank you so much! I am really glad it’s turning out so well for the first time making it!” Rhodolite grinned towards Sanguine, chuckling softly.

“I am most welcome!~ It is rather fortunate that you’re doing amazing for the first try, Rhodolite my friend~” Sanguine grinned and giggles back to him.

Sanguine kept watching, curious how one human could eat so much, not juding one bit because he had his fair share of binging. Humming merrily as he waited for Sponte to finish eating.

And Sponte was rather glad that they weren’t being judged for eating this much. They had enough of their fair share of weird looks throughout their life, so this was different but in a good way. It wasn’t long until they got pretty bored of that, however, and reloaded as they handed the plate back to Sanguine. “M’full. Thanks.”
