-he often complained that he was only able to get a day off for eid while the rest of the students got half a month off for christmas

-after he explained why he had to get up in the middle of the night in first year, the marauders started joining him for seheri even though it made them late for class in the mornings

-after fourth year the girls started joining them too

-lily got warnings from the few other muslim girls at school when she first started liking him since they thought there was a chance he would simply leave her when the time came for marriage

-this delayed any progress for a good few months until the others finally got it into her heads that james would never do that
