The Latin word 'creare' means 'to cause to exist', suggesting that when we open ourselves to the creative energy within, we are quite literally bringing new life into the world. This is one of our greatest gifts and responsibilities in life.

We are each unique creative beings. Whether through painting murals, writing poetry, playing music, dancing tango, baking cookies, growing businesses or growing a garden, the only limits of what we can create are those that we impose upon ourselves - or allow others to impose upon us.

It is time to expand your experience of your true creative potential. If you are feeling uninspired or creatively blocked, the best first step is often just to begin.

When we open to the creative essence within, we realise that every task and moment is an opportunity to bring some new energy to life. As we do this consciously in different ways each day, we cultivate the most important and lasting artistic expression of all... ourselves.

Listen to what your soul is saying to you. Communicate and share this in the world.

Whether we realize it or not, we are all in constant communication with life and the world around us. Not only in what we say, but in our body language, tonality, facial expressions and movement, we communicate far more that most of us realize. In fact, the words we speak only make up a very small percentage of what we communicate out into the world each day.

Today is an invitation to come into alignment - inside and out - with what you really want to say in life. Take time to get clear within yourself first, become conscious of what your soul wishes to express. Then open your perception to the many ways that you may be able to communicate that clarity.

if you find it hard to verbalize what you really want to say, today you are encouraged to practice expressing yourself out loud and in other ways. Take a moment to pause before speaking and practice slowing down your breath so that you are calm and able to clearly connect with what you most want to express. Choose to value your words and your opinions and then others will value them too.

The essence of communicating is all about our connection with other people. Be open to speaking up about your opinions and beliefs. Acknowledge responsibility for expressing yourself and your needs to others.

Balanced communication is also about being patient, accepting and willing to listen. Listen to the words and actions of others and to what is being expressed in the subtle moments and exchanges of life. It is here in the quiet gap between the words that the deepest truths are revealed. Listen to what's going on around you - in your family, community and the world.

All of life is made up of vibration. All of life has a frequency and a sound. Even if that sound is silence. As one of the purest and most potent healing forces on the planet, sound has the capacity to capture the essence of an individual, to unify the energy of an entire group, to dissolve illness, penetrate surfaces and (in the case of whale song) travel around the entire globe! - and beyond!

Today is an invitation to consciously enter life's rich symphony of sound. Take time to listen with all of your senses. Be willing to hear what the world is communicating to you - even in silence. Honour the intuitive sounds of your own being and let them come through.

Whenever we speak or make a sound, we emit a vibrational energetic force into the Universe. It is time to be more conscious of the sounds which you are bringing into the world, and the sounds you are choosing to surround yourself with on a daily basis. Are they sounds of healing, harmony, high visions and inspiration, or are they sounds of discord, imbalance and uncertainty? Get in tune with how you sound when you speak, when you breathe, when you sing and when you walk, and how you feel when you hear the sounds of life around you.

By heightening our awareness and sensitivity to sound, we naturally heighten our capacity to respond to what is needed in each moment to bring fulfilment and harmony, in sound and beyond.

Sound is an energetic doorway to the Universe... as we genuinely tune into the great symphony of life, we gain an awareness of our own unique note and role to play - without which, this great song of creation would never be complete. It is time to listen... and time to let your note be heard!

In today's world of etiquette and socially acceptable communication, it is common to close down our expression of self from a very young age. To limit how and what we say, how we move, how we create and the very path we walk in life, based on what we have been told is appropriate. Before we know it, we have put a ceiling on our own visions, expressions and fulfilment of our potential.

Today is an invitation to rekindle the connection and expression of your true voice in life. Not because it's appropriate or acceptable or because you are worthy or qualified, but because of how good it feels to have your inner light moving through you into the world. You are being encouraged to speak up and be heard!

Have the courage to express your beliefs and values in your words and in your actions. Have integrity and stand up for that which you believe in. Call upon the power of your heart and strength of your will and allow your individuality to shine.

While sometimes honesty seems like a difficult path to walk, in the end it is the only way that truly fulfils and sustains us. When you can speak your truth without attachment to how others respond, then you are truly free to be yourself.

When we gossip about others or speak dishonestly in any way, there is a part of us that knows it. If we go along with something that isn't aligned with who we really are, we feel it deep inside. By acting outside of our integrity, we betray a part of ourselves, and in doing so we move away from our soul's path.

~ Explore in your journal your values and beliefs. Do you honour them? What can you do to live more in alignment with them?

~ If there are things that need to be said, now may be the time to speak up. If you are living in ways that are not aligned with who you came here to be, now is the time to be honest with yourself. If you feel blocked or stuck in your relationships because of hidden truths or unshared feelings, take this opportunity to come clean. Talk about it or write about it. Find ways to honestly express yourself.

It is about being able to assert your will so that you have self control and are able to maintain personal boundaries and choices. If we have strong will we are able to move beyond resistance, beyond doubts, opinions and judgement - of others and ourselves.

Today is an invitation to ignite your personal will power in alignment with what is most important to you, through the simple steps you take in the world each day - the foods you eat (or choose not to eat), your spiritual practice, fitness regime and work you engage in. It is one thing to set a goal - for health, love, financial or creative success - it is another thing to follow through with empowered, wilful action. It is time now, to move steadily in the direction of that which you feel most called to do.

The Latin word for Compassion literally means "co-suffering". Today isn't an invitation to suffer, but rather to allow yourself and others to rise up beyond sufferings through the light of genuine empathy and understanding.

The call to compassion is a call to accept people and situations for who they are and where they are at. As we let go of judgement and the need to 'fix' a situation or to label things as good or bad, we begin to realise that every situation carries with it a gift and that we each have unique lessons to learn. By judging or focusing on each other's faults we contribute to keeping each other stuck in those places. Often our lack of acceptance of other people stems from a deeper judgement of ourselves. As we learn to see and treat each other in our highest light, we help open the passage for each to find his or her way up into the sun.

So before you judge someone for their shortcomings or mistakes, take a moment to genuinely feel what it's like to stand in their shoes. Experience the world as they might and allow yourself to drop into a space of compassion. See them rising up and shining in full glory. See yourself in this same way.

Yes, it is also time to have compassion with yourself. Treat yourself with the same love and acceptance that you would share with someone that you deeply care about. Talk to yourself in a loving way. It's time to let go of unresolved grief and blame toward yourself and others.

When we cling to pain and grievance, we create blockages in our heart that dampen our energy and experience. Even if we believe we are justified in holding back forgiveness, in the end we are the ones who suffer the most.

Like a fragile wound freshly cleaned, when we release old anger and resentment we may at first feel raw and vulnerable. It is here in our vulnerability that we are wide open and sensitive enough to truly allow healing to begin. In this 'letting go' there is a strength and lightness of being that has the power to transform.

Today is an invitation to allow the energy of forgiveness to move through you.

Look at what you have learned and how you have grown from your experience. See the situation, yourself and others with compassion and empathy. Recognize that we are all human and that mistakes actually lead to our growth and better understanding of each other. Look for the positive. Forgiveness does not mean that you agree with whatever has occurred, it just means that you choose to accept things as they are and realize that they are now in the past. Be grateful for the new understanding and perspective you have on things.

Trust and allow all of life's imperfections (including your own) to be released into the breeze, where they may spiral their way lightly back to the Earth. Set yourself free through forgiveness!

~ If you have had the chance to fully express your grief or anger, you may wish to write down your feelings, cry or even yell if you need to. Express what comes up for you and then be willing to let it go. Whatever it is, it does not need to define who you are, nor does it deserve to burden your heart any longer.

It is time to openly give and receive love. Let this great power centre of your heart heal wounds and build bridges of genuine connection in all areas of your life. There is no place that love cannot be of deep service. Like a spring breeze through the trees, your heart has the capacity to see and move beyond all apparent obstacles with grace and ease.

Just as your heart keeps blood moving through your body, your Heart Chakra keeps love moving through the channels of your life. It is time now, to awaken the power of your Heart Chakra. This next week encourages generosity, giving and sharing. It encourages you to also welcome these things into your life with open arms and a welcoming heart!

This Weeks Conscious Actions:

~ Practise breathing exercises & meditation ~ Express love and allow yourself to be loved unconditionally ~ Giving and showing love to others ~ Simple touch or having/giving a massage ~ Do that which makes you happy ~ Spend time around people/things you love such as family, children, animals or a particular environment. ~ Be positive and write things you love about yourself or others down in a journal. ~ Read a magazine/book or watch a movie that you love. ~ Eat green vegetables or fruits, green and red tea/juices. Anything made with love. Anything that aids circulation including beetroot, lentils, ginger, garlic, cayenne pepper and rosemary. ~ Wear the colours green & pink or any other colour that you associate with love.

It is time to take back your deep inner power and claim a sense of confidence in simply being you. Acknowledge your very best qualities, take pride in how you present yourself and learn to love your 'imperfections' as essential aspects of what make you the uniquely Divine individual that you are.

As we expand our energy and nourish ourselves we naturally enhance the vibration and outward expression of our being. We find ourselves feeling more alive, more connected and more excited to be exactly who we are.

~ Today is the day to discover who you are and the power within your true self. Immerse yourself in activities that increase your self-awareness and confidence. Take up a hobby or learn a new skill. Spend time among friends who see you in your highest light. Spend time in nature alone. Take fun risks, audition for a play, write a song, get your hair cut. ~ Write down all the things you are grateful for, what you are good at and what you love about yourself. ~Build your self-esteem in simple ways such as eating nutritious foods, exercising in ways that make you feel alive and honour your need for rest and rejuvenation.
