Led Zeppelin's Physical Graffiti turned 40 years old yesterday, & the March issue of Mojo has some really phenomenal covers of the songs. White Denim kills Custard Pie. The Temperance Movement, Michael Kiwanuka, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, Hiss Golden Messenger, etc all pay their respects.

Millie Jackson - My Man, A Sweet Man.

This is kind of bizarre because she's lip syncing to a recording that was sped up so it's a half step above how she recorded it. Apparently the record label felt like her voice was too smokey, & needed to sound more feminine. I would love to hear the original recording.
