Favorite Rickyl Moment Of The Week (with slightly paraphrased captions): "No Sanctuary"

Daryl's status as Rick's second is clearly still acknowledged by the group despite the change in circumstances, and it's such a departure from earlier seasons that people are looking to Daryl to temper Rick's crazy murderous impulses. Frankly, it's kind of hilarious (and awesome) that Rick is totally down with leaving everybody else behind and going back to wreak bloody havoc at Terminus with only Daryl as backup.

Burning compound? Hordes of Walkers? Terminus stragglers with nothing left to lose? Whatever. He and Daryl have it covered.

"...Except for a “previously on” segment and a brief flashback, the show picked up exactly where it had left off in Season 4. Rick, Daryl, Michonne, and Carl have been reunited with the majority of the other prison survivors and now face the daunting task of surviving Terminus without losing any choice cuts of their own meat. Carol and Tyreese with baby Judith in tow approach, initially unaware of the true nature of Terminus, and the episode is dedicated to the daring escape from within and Carol’s rescue mission from without. Without the need to establish a new status quo after an in-universe hiatus, as with the two previous season premieres, “No Sanctuary” thrust viewers right back into the survivors’ impossible situation, and the action didn’t stop for nearly the entire hour. While the episode is one of the best in the show to date and packed with plenty of zombies and familiar blood-spattered faces, it wasn’t perfect. So, here are the five best things that came out of the Season 5 premiere…and three of the worst."
