Case of Stains // Isamu // Chapter 3 // Open
gyu-hui:
Gyuhui notices the scar, but they’re not gonna bring it up. That’s none of their business. They smile at Isamu.
“I hear ya! Actually, my schedule’s pretty packed too, so whenever I get the chance to relax I take it. Maybe I go a little too hard sometimes but it’s worth it for the stress relief!” Is Gyuhui referring to alcohol or something else? The Answer May Shock You.
They shrug. “Not everyone seemed very worried about the wish thing. Not to me, anyways - A lot of people just shrugged it off. I feel like the real problem is just that Control is still messing with our heads. It sucks. For everybody.”
Washing machine? More like sitting machine. Gyuhui climbs on top of the one their clothes are in and sits criss-cross, apparently unbothered by the shaking and humming that’s going on beneath them. “How are you holding up, though? Just in general. I know things have changed a lot for me since we’ve been here.”
Isamu appreciates the lack of questioning Gyuhui, that’s a tale for a different time. Now is the moment of talking about getting crunk.
Isamu suspects that Gyuhui and him were not on the same wavelength on what beverages they were talking about. Oh well, not his thing to pry into. “Yeah, sometimes we all just gotta take a moment to relax. I’m sure with your job those moments are few in far between.” He’s always heard things about the idol industry, and every time he looks into it, he gets scared of it.
Isamu didn’t really agree with Gyuhui on that front. “They might not have expressed visible concern, but I get the feeling that there are some who still are. You got a point though, it really does suck.” Cramping his vibes, it is.
Welcome to the sitting machine club Gyuhui, you now have been enlightened as to the true purpose of washing machines, like Isamu.”Well...” He thinks about what he should say. “It’s going I guess.” Pretty quaint answer there. “Wish I could be anywhere, but here.” Don’t we all?
