Everyone has a dark side.
"Oh thank god you’re alive"
"Who else is in here?"
Alice stood up but proved to be a mistake. Coughing she fell to the ground. “Why. . Let me go. . Please, I’ve done nothing wrong.”
He furrowed his brows, keeping himself down. He was smarter than this. "I don't know -- what you're talking about," he coughs.
Cora nodded, despite no one being able to see her do it, then lay down and breathed into the sleeve of her shirt. “Derek, you shouldn’t be here. I thought you got away..” She sighed before letting out another cough. Coughing so much was beginning to hurt her throat so each one sounded more painful than the last.
"I didn't," he squeezed his eyes shut, the ache in his head throbbing hard. "Someone jumped me," he reached to the back of his head, able to feel the small bump on it.
"Anna?" Derek looks up from where he was from, able to recognize that voice anywhere.
Paige coughed as she heard someone from another cell. “Hello?” She used her shirt to cover her mouth and nose and kept to the ground. “Anyone?!”
Derek furrowed his brows. "What's going --" he paused to cough a few times before speaking again. "--On?"
"Dammit… I can’t pick the lock"
"Lock?" he found himself saying as he kept himself on the ground, trying his best not to inhale the wolfsbane that was ventilating.
Alice kept struggling with the chains but felt too weak.
He felt the collar around his neck and narrowed his eyes, despite his pain at the ironic 'joke'.
Cora sighed as her eyes adjusted to her surroundings, realizing that she was still in her cell. She was still trapped. But she did perk up slightly at the sound of Derek’s voice, sitting up instantly. “Derek? I-I, no. I’m fine, where—” She was cut off by the sudden urge to cough and clear her lungs after taking a deep breath. “Where are you?”
He heard her cough and then he realized almost instantly that the vent was poisoning them with wolfsbane. He quickly got to the ground and crawled towards the bars. "I'm in here," he coughs. Memories of him being poisoned not so long ago crept to mind. This isn't a good year -- or month for him at all. "Stay on your ground..." he cleared his throat, trying to get rid of the horrible taste on his tongue.
She smelled Derek’s scent and instantly perked up, looking around, “D-derek?”
"E-va?"
…What the hell happened to you?
"What's going on?" he felt groggy, like he was going through some massive hangover -- only, he doesn't get to have a hangover with his wolf genes.
She coughs slightly as she closes her eyes, attemtping to get some rest
He groans, shaking himself mentally but the wolfsbane in his system was slowly eating him alive.
After many hours of agony from the poisoned air, Cora had finally managed to rock herself to sleep in her cell, only to wake up later from a nightmare in a state of panic. “Derek?!”
Despite the giddiness and weakness he was feeling, the moment he heard his sister's voice, he struggles to stand up. "Cora? " His eyes glowed red for a split second. "Cora! Are you okay? Are you hurt?"
What color is Anna's underwear right now?
Do I look like I've got time for this?
I didn’t know, I swear I didn’t.
We both didn't, Anna. .... It's going to be okay.
This...
I wont leave. Not ever.
I promise you, Cora. I won't leave. Ever.
