Okay but THIS^^^

Not me hyperanalyzing again, but I’m obsessed with the moment at 0:11 after he helps her out of the boat, and she decides to step REALLY CLOSE to him, and he waits for just a second before pulling away, and you can FEEL that tension. Then he steps away and turns around, and there’s this look on his face that’s like “Shit what do I do??? Idk ask her to sing,” before he says to sing. And idk I’ve just never seen that choice made before, but it’s little details like that in the actors’ performances that make the show seem fresh even after all these years.

Anyway if I ever get ahold of a full bootleg of this production with video, that’s where all my free time is going.
