I need some advice. I made this Red Hood helmet for fun using cardboard and pure scotch tape, and I want to improve it. I’m done with the structure and everything most likely, but I don’t know how to finish it. Is there any way to cover it and make the texture smoother? Paper mache? Plaster? I want to paint it red and use something over all the cardboard because of uneven-ish surfaces and gaps, but can’t figure out what would be best. Any ideas?

I also want to be able to cover the eye holes with something white, but still see through. Are there any materials that might work for that?

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated! And any opinions on the type of paint would be great as well.

Just a random art dump. The creature dude is named Jimmy. He’s basically just a mix of a dog and a dinosaur. At least that’s the best explanation. He’s just…Jimmy. Anyway, the second image is me trying out different color palettes and color schemes for this persona I made. Still can’t figure it out. Working on it. Third one I was making as a computer background.

Do you guys ever have really cold hands and then you wash them in roasty toasty water and they feel like they could play drums really well and do some really good jazz piano or like stretch around the world?
