Help I can’t stop redesigning characters for the Melanin Beam challenge , I’m up to 5 and doing at LEAST 1 more. Probably more, this is extremely fun and I’m learning so much about rendering different skin tones and hair!

A young Thunder, his siblings & other kits grew to adore Bumble as their surrogate auntie whenever the other cats are busy. Innocently calling the tortie their nanny.

Before Gray Wing could say anything rude, he sees how happy the kits are with the kittypet. Not wanting to be seen as untrustworthy by the youngsters, he swallows his negative emotions down. Same goes for the other judgmental settlers.

It’s strange that Tom’s bio kits look nothing like him in canon. So Gray Wing is the actual father for Turtle Tail’s 3 kits, since Tom doesn’t exist here.

The wise gray settler truly changed for the better & stopped being too stubborn.

Despite One Eye being old, he still stays active & occasionally watches over his grandkids.

“Fat” clanners/rogues represents greed/lazy but for barn/kittypets means they’re just (over)fed. Culture clash.

Prequels

Mossheart (kit) has a heart to heart conversation to Thrushpelt that she feels closer to him & ThunderClan than Oakheart & RiverClan. And the patched Molly feels guilty that she “favors” him over her other dad.

Thou the pale tom gently says that it’s ok for a kit to feel that way even if 2+ parents are good. “If I wasn’t a good cat vouching for anyone, then your mother & your littermates would’ve been exiled long ago... Besides, Stonefur is already a happy resident in RiverClan so it’s fine to pick a different path in life.”

“Arc 1”

Bluestar, Crookedstar, Tallstar & Russetstar do have a long conversation in a Gathering about not only making sure clans get proper leaders so less xenophobia/issues would happen.

But also have a more positive reputation for non-clanners. Aka letting guests in/out at certain times of the seasons.

Frost (Scourge) of the town cats do make deals w/ the forest clans w/ the prey, herb & item exchange.

Russetfur/star didn’t deserve to have her character butchered in canon!
