Over the weekend something magical happened. During the One Direction fandom’s darkest hour (by which we mean the final gig of the On The Road Again tour), the lads decided to restore a little bit of beauty to the world and brought us the hug to end all hugs: an embrace between Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson that was a big old middle finger to those dumb rumours circulating about a rift between the singers.

Anyway, this rather wonderful and poignant moment was captured in both photographic and GIF form and is something that will be treasured in our favourites folder forever.
