"My costume? I went with Demeter, goddess of the harvest, thought it'd fit, plus if anything I can still do my job without much interference. Ever since I got here, I've been passing some of my spare time reading, found a couple mythology books and enjoyed their stories, so I figured why not dress up as one of the gods? Though I will admit I am not used to wearing dresses... so I'm a little out of my depth here. Then again considering the era and the interpretations of them I could find, it's not exactly like any of them wear pants."
As Farmer spoke, one of her three birds landed on her head, the parakeet, cozied itself in their hair as it seemingly nudged at the wheat in her hair curiously. Though Farmer seemed to know what it was going to try as she lifted her wheat bundle to it, and it happily bit one of the stalks from there.
"Most of the birds have also been quite enjoying the costume, simply cause of the wheat I've been lugging around, greedy little things. But hey, let's make this night one to remember right? Let's get some photos together to mark the night!"

Never seen the guy till now- But geez, that’s one high maintenance costume. Offered to repaint a few of the stripes since they looked like they were rubbing off- Guess the camera went off in the middle of it. Not a bad photo though, huh ? Decided to keep it. It’s charming anyways.

✦ The Mechanic's calloused hands are covered with dirt and soot, along with the dirt and rust caked underneath his fingernails. Whether it being from messing with mechanisms or from crawling out of the dirt is uncertain.

…I’ve heard the guy’s chattering teeth whenever we try to sleep. I don’t understand it- how anyone can be that cold in this heat. Even just looking at those layers makes me sweat.. They anemic or something ? Either way, I’ve heard how that guy speaks.. I understand it, in a way. Past the flowery metaphors, it’s kind of introspective.
