WeWriteVictuuri is holding its first theme week, AutotelÄs, which means āself-goalā. With this title, we aim to create for the joy of creating.
Each day has its own theme ā all of them are worded in a way to give you as much freedom for your creations as possible. Each theme was submitted and voted for by the members of the WeWriteVictuuri discord server.
The week will take place on the 16th of July to the 22nd of July 2018.
This theme week is open to everyone. You donāt have to be a contributor for WeWriteVictuuri to join. For participation, please see the rules and requirements at the end of this post.
Victor and Yuuriās relationship has moved us all as a fandom, from friends to coach/student to lovers and soulmates. This day is dedicated to every aspect of their relationship.
Flowers, volcanoes and seasā¦ The world is your oyster! Write Viktor as a forest ranger or Yuuri as a lifeguard. One thingās for sure: Viktor and Yuuriās love transcends all elements.

Day 4: The Arts/ The Sciences
Do you want an AU where Viktor won the Nobel Prize for Physics? Or do you want to create a portrait of Yuuri as a dancer? This day is to celebrate both the Arts and the Sciences, where you can pay homage to the greats.Ā
(The Arts include but are not limited to literature, performing arts, visual arts as well as film, comic books, architecture and the culinary arts. The Sciences include Natural Sciences, Formal Sciences and Social Sciences. Interdisciplinary and applied sciences, like engineering and medicine, also count.)
Time-travel, historical time periods, Yuuri and Viktor growing old togetherā¦ We were born to make history!
Day 6: Fantasy/ Science Fiction
Have you got an awesome story where Victor is a dragon-rider or a Star Trek AU where Yuuri is a Science Officer? As they say in Elvish, āMae g'ovannen!ā
Do you have an AU starring our favourite couple that you really want to show the world? Then this day is for you!
The focus must be on Victor Nikiforov and Katsuki Yuuri (we are, after all, called WeWriteVictuuri).
The piece you submit for a day must be newly created. You cannot submit previous works.
Each piece made must follow our guidelines, which can be seen here. Our guidelines are there in order for us to create a safe and comfortable environment for all members of the Yuri On Ice fandom. We hope you will be understanding. We reserve the right to not reblog pieces that do not fit with our guidelines.
NSFW is allowed. Appropriate tagging, as well as placing your work under a cut are a must. When writing NSFW, characters must be 18+ and consenting.
The minimum requirement for taking part in AutotelÄs is to do one day.
We accept written pieces and art. We are also happy to accept cosplay, gifsets, music and AMVs.
If you are late to submit on the day, do not worry. You are able to submit all week. However, you cannot submit your pieces early i.e. On Day 3, it is completely fine to post a piece for Day 1. However, you cannot post a piece for Day 3 on Day 1. You must wait for the day you are posting for.
You do not have to complete the full week, you can choose which days you want to take part in. Additionally, you can always come back and do some of the days at a later date. We only ask that you take part in one day during the week that the theme week is set.
How do we get our pieces reblogged?
If you create a piece, please tag us with @wewritevictuuri or with our hashtags #wwvthemeweek or #autoteles in the first five tags on Tumblr so we can reblog it.
We also have an AO3 collection. Instructions on how to submit your piece to the collection are here. The collection is moderated so it may take a while for your piece to show up in the collection.
