Master baker Rachel Teufel of Intricate Icings transforms a plain white showpiece cake with an amethyst geode which sparkles like a true crystal. The deceptively realistic design of the cake took over 16 hours to bake and make, with several more hours on planning. This cake was designed for the First Look Events at Moss Denver. The baker’s cake was selected as centrepiece based on the emotion of “Joy” among others at the event.
