“I was super excited about raids at first. Then it started pissing me off because the other players would demand ascended equipment. After a long time, I managed to make my main fully ascended. Tried again. Lost countless hours with prepping and we would get wiped every time. Never got past the vale guardian I think I only managed once to actually beat it. Then gorseval happened and I got kicked. They told me I’m too inexperienced, shitty build, stuff like that. Made a few tweaks, went through he’ll again for some ascended pieces. Now they demand that you ping legendary insights. I have one. Didn’t care for raiding since then. I’m never good enough, no matter how much I try. Watching the mechanics on YouTube doesn’t help if you don’t actually get to apply what you see. I hate how raids are full of elitists.”

i hope path of fire is the expansion which will close all the bullshit in the story that anet has made up even with the cost of more plot holes (which were more or less inevitable)

because so far the story is as leaky as an average colander so it would be nice of them to not snowball even more nonsense on this hotchpotch of a plot
