Im surprised on insight of two nights a go where I wanted to spill whats been on my mind all this time. Shes the summer to my winter, shes the hand im the splinter shes warmed me into thinking theres more to floating and I am sinking Into my seat over the thought of being enough Each day I remind myself shes not an angel, but better, Able to look past my face and to know my heart aches she knows my stomach twists when I see the reason I cant trust myself with anyone She leaves my heavy conscience aside, brings me comforting piece of mind. I wonder each day If ill see the sunrise again, with this time, a hand in hand When its cold and voices breaking at the crack of dawn And i’d live my life again all the way through to remind myself what it was like meeting you.
