The Initial Sign of Gastric Ulcer -胃潰瘍のはじまり-
It shows mucosa of stomach. Reticular blood vessels stretched underneath the mucosa have been seen. Gastric mucosa with its secreting mucus is protected from gastric acid and digestive juice in order not to be digested by them. It is known that NSAIDs (Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs), which provides pain-killing and antipyretic effects, cause the suppression of gastric mucous secretion by immediate dysfunctions of mucous cell besides the inhibition of blood flow in stomach. As hydrochloric acid is added in the concentration equal to gastric acid over gastric mucosa whose defense has been weakened by the administration of NSAIDs, the mucosa is being damaged and starts bleeding. In this way, when the balance between protection and aggressive factors gets upset, gastric ulcer can occur by gastric mucosa’s desquamating.
胃の内側を覆う粘膜です。粘膜内を流れる網状の血管を見ることができます。 胃粘膜は胃酸や消化液によって自らが消化されないように分泌した粘液で守られています。 痛み止め、解熱に使われるNSAIDsは胃の血流を阻害するほか粘液細胞の機能を直接障害して胃粘液の分泌を抑制します。 NSAIDs投与によって防御能が低下した状態の胃粘膜に胃酸と同じ濃度の塩酸液を流すと、粘膜が傷害されて出血が起こります。 このように防御と傷害のバランスが崩れ、粘膜が剥離することで胃潰瘍が発症します。

There are a lot of tiny lines on fingertips and palm called epidermal ridges. The ducts of sweat glands is open on tops of the ridges causing prints that are left on a surface.
指先や掌には、「皮膚隆線」という線状の隆起がたくさん並んでいます。皮膚隆線には汗腺の穴が規則的に並んでいて、ここから常に汗が分泌されています。ものに触れたときに指紋がつくのは、このためです。
Nasal mucosa -鼻粘膜の線毛運動-
鼻の粘膜には、線毛を持った線毛細胞があります。 この線毛細胞が、粘膜の表面を波打っている様子を写した動画です。
線毛細胞は、鼻の粘膜だけでなく気管や気管支にも存在し、呼吸器に入った異物を体外に排出する役割を担っています。

毛も細胞でできています。毛母細胞は毛球で分裂増殖し、新しく生まれた細胞が毛幹を押し上げるようにして毛を伸ばし、やがて角質化します。黒くみえる顆粒はメラニン色素です。 Hair is made of cells. Hair matrix cells are dividing and multiplying at the hair bulb. These new born cells push the hair shaft upward (hair growth) and become keratinized. Many black granules you can see is melanin. They are pigment produced by melanocytes and gives color to your hair.
