Riding in Cirencester park was quite cool! Not only was there a Tough Mudder race the next day so it was full of massive obstacles, but riding on grass like that in a massive park, I mean wow!! I really felt as if we were trespassing but we were actually allowed there, something we, at least in Englan, are not exactly spolied with. So much fun, and great places for a good gallop!

Got that in an e-mail this morning and it kind of broke my heart a little. She believes so much in me, much more than I beliveve in myself and that is so incredibly caring. She has zero obligation to do so, as really, I was just and empolyee, but she is such a good hearted person. Without her encouragment I would never had considered Oxford and I really feel as if I'm letting her down as I can not send in my application (due to my teacher not submitting my reference), and now it's too late.

Half way to Norway

Hey ho, I'm halft way to Olso! Just left Gothenburg and have about 3 hours left. It's pouring with rain and it all looks quite depressing. Norway, I'm counting on you to bring me sunshine!

I'll post as many photos from the new place as I can, I'm sure the horses will be gorgeous and the place is by the sea so hopefully the surroundings will be beautiful as well.

okay so i've been offered a job in Germany, and it seems really great and all that, but tbh i'd rather stay at home a while longer, especially if I'm off to NZ next year and then uni, u know. I only just got back and I for once I've had the chance to make plans, as I thought I knew where I was gonna be for a while... but i quit my job on friday so I don't have anything atm and germany seems like a lot of fun... I just don't know.

plus my oxford application is due in on wednesday and it's causing me so much anxiety as I'm not finished and don't know if I will be at all.

Look what I managed to scan from the printed photo! 

I remember this day so well and how thrilled I was with Conker even though we, resultwise, didn't have our best day. It was the friday before we were going to Hickstead and on the Tuesday we had been at Summerhouse and we did not do well at all, any of us. So this was basically our chance to regain some confidence before our biggest show ever. We arrived really early and it was really hot. Still Conks kept her focus and she jumped incredibly well and was super responsive to my aids. We also did our first 1.10 (together, she has done bigger) and again, she was amazing. After the first class, J. brought me this as a gift and I pretty much just wanted to hug her so much in gratitude. So thrilled! 

Gosh, now I miss England... I really had the time of my life over there..

omg, can't believe this little fella is turning 14 today!! 14!!! do you even realize how old she's getting? Also so surreal that I've had her around basically my entire life, since I was six... wow. She's the best though and I love her to bits.
