Acrylic and watercolour crayons on paper This piece is entitled 'Carefree' and it represents a contrast whereby traditionally feminine concepts are being portrayed on a male. It doesn't signify that he is gay or transsexual but that there is nothing wrong with a male wearing a flower crown. There are certain societal constructs that are restricted to a particular gender and that doesn't make much sense to me. A flower is a flower, males are allowed to consider them to be beautiful as well; a male wearing something beautiful doesn't signify weakness. Even if beauty is associated with femininity (which is unfair) femininity is not weakness.
