Life Update: I did a National tour!!

I toured with Casa Manana based out of Fort Worth Texas. 33 Shows. 1 Month. 11 States. Insanity!

I played May in Junior B Jones in Jingle Bells Batman Smells!

It was an incredible experience and I would love to share more about that experience on here :)

I am back to give advice! I have been so inactive! I currently help choreograph and direct for a theatre and am looking into grad school for performance and pedagogy!

I’m auditioning for Heathers soon but it will be a blind audition which means whoever plays the role best will be cast no matter their gender, etc. I’m a girl and I’m going to go for the part for JD but since it’s usually played by a guy I have no idea what to sing. Any ideas? I’m typically an alto but I can sing tenor and soprano if I need too. I’m not really sure what they are looking for and their casting call was pretty vague. Sorry I know it may be challenging to find something. Thank you!

My suggestion is maybe sing something from a contemporary show. I would look at Kerrigan and Lowdermilk! Maybe Run Away With Me? That song vocally is great for JD and it doesn’t address gender! Plus his motifs are there.
