Like Old Times | Thea & JP
J.P. sighed as he walked. He had gotten fresh air but he couldn’t deny the fact that it was nice to spend time with Thea. “The weather is nice. I guess it would.” He said in a monotone. He didn’t get outside much over the summer and he was sure it showed as he wasn’t as tan as usual. “I get why it will do a world of good for you but how so for me?”
Thea turned to face J.P. as they continued walking. It was much easier to face him when he spoke. That way, the sound was clearer; and she could watch his lips and facial expressions. “Ye were locked in a cellar all summer, Jamieson... Somethin’ tells me ye need t’ git out in the sunshine.” She explained, letting out a soft sigh as she spoke up. The mere thought of what Micah put him through sent a noticeable shiver down her spine. “Besides, yer nearly as pale as I am; an’ ye cannae blame Scotland’s lack o’ natural sunlight on tha’ like I can.” One of her favorite things about Vermont was the sun. The weather back home was the polar opposite; so it was nice actually being able to go outside without needing a raincoat and boots 9 out of 10 days. “So...”
