How to Keep Thomas & Friends From Being Ruined FOREVER

Fans realize something Mattel does not: that robust 80 year old billion-dollar franchises based on a book series about trains, while seemingly healthy, are in actuality as fragile as a rusted coupling holding troublesome trucks to Peter Sam. Fortunately, there is hope. The Thomas & Friends fanbase has resolved to remain ever vigilant against something that would Ruin Thomas & Friends Forever, and call out a warning if they see something that could potentially do so.
Some Thomas & Friends conversationalists suggest a more extreme approach, that Thomas & Friends should abandon all attempts at re-invention and instead cater exclusively to the old-school fanbase. Though attractive, this approach may prove impractical as a long-term solution.
Ruined Forever remains a serious threat to Thomas & Friends now and in the foreseeable future, though it's possible a proposed initiative requiring all Thomas & Friends fans to purchase an annual plastic offset could ensure our fragile brand's existence through the mid-21st century.
