I am broken. I knew this would hurt, but nothing prepared me for the deep longing and sadness that has consumed my being. I want you to know that I love you, I will never stop loving you, and I'm sorry. From the bottom of my heart i am sorry for hurting you. I'm sorry for not communicating. Sorry for not giving you the chance you so badly wanted. Sorry for breaking your heart. Tonight is hard for me. I should be with you right now. Your skin against mine, your arms holding me close and keeping me warm. Instead I'm here. Stuck. With memories of you. Despite the unhappiness I claimed to have, the memories are pleasant.
