That’s right. I’m talking about Lexa having to look after a tiny, rebellious Clarke. 

Or, Clarke having to look after a tiny warrior Lexa.

Or even, tiny warrior Lexa and tiny rebellious Clarke go on fun kid adventures! Hell, I’d be game for any of this. No deep explanations necessary (which is why I tossed the crack part in there) and playful fun strongly encouraged.

Update

It’s all ooc mun stuff. Read if you are interested. In short, I apologize for my unexpected and unwanted short absence and will be getting to drafts tonight, tomorrow, and into the next few days. 

Hey Guys!

So I know I’ve been away for awhile. It sucks being sick. Whatever the hell I caught at work all those days ago is horrid, and the customer that gave it to me is a real jerk-face. Initially, I thought I would just work through it and keep posting for Lexa just at a slower rate. Well, that was wishful thinking. Basically whatever I had caught got worse these past few days. Sleeping proved to be ridiculously difficult due to my inability to breathe normally mixed with constant coughing fits. With the little sleep I would get, I would then go to work and spend each day feeling drained, slow and  all while juggling my responsibilities at work which only grew because inventory has arrived. Then, at the end of the day I would go home, eat something and then try to sleep. All of this completely destroyed my muse for days. 

I honestly don’t know what exactly I caught, but it’s the worst I’ve physically felt in years. It was only yesterday when I started feeling better so I’m hoping the worst of it has already played out. Today (which was my actual birthday so that immensely lifted my spirits) my muse has started to return now that I’m beginning to feel a little bit more like my usual self. I plan to get to work on drafts tonight, tomorrow, and onward. I apologize if I kept anyone waiting, but life has its way of kicking you in the face at any random moment. If your muse for any of our rps has died, don’t hesitate to message me so we can plot something new up. 

Anyways, I just wanted to take some time to explain my short, unannounced absence. I hope you all are well.

Managed to get two replies done! Yay! Everything else has been carefully placed in my drafts. The Mun is still sick but getting better. This has been your random, didn’t ask for, update. Lol. Night guys.

LEXA

                        Despite what Lexa may believe in her haze, Costia was never far during her brush with illness.  In fact, she worked closely with the healer, coordinating her treatments so that she might be the one to tend to her.  Knowing the Commander as well as she did, she was fully aware that Lexa wasn’t keen on being seen in such a state.

                        So, she stayed with Lexa for much of the tonight, keeping close and tending to her sickness.  In the morning, she left to fetch more water and medicine and was only just now returning.  At Lexa’s initial reaction to her return, she smiled a little, hardly surprised.

                        “I have been treating you since last night, Lexa,” she shut the door behind her and approached at a leisurely pace.  Placing a satchel of herbs and a bowl of water on a nearby table, she gave her lover a look. “Lie back down.  You are weak.”

                        Dipping a rag into the cool water, she rang it out and then walked toward where Lexa rested. “How are you feeling?”

                     Costia had been with her all night? Why could she not recall this? Then again, she had spent a majority of the night moving to and from her bed to the washroom, and her head had felt heavy from whatever illness had struck her. Perhaps she had been more out of it than she had initially realized. 

                     “I’m sorry,” Lexa finally spoke after a moment. “I do not remember you being here last night. Whatever has sickened me must be playing with my mind.” She briefly eyed the satchel and bowl of water, silently hoping that Costia possessed the cure for this illness. She did not like feeling this way; feeling weak. Vulnerable. 

                     Noticing that the door to her room was closed, Lexa slowly laid back down on her bed, her eyes following Costia. “I cannot be weak, Costia. What if something happens to our people while I am ill? I cannot face an enemy if it takes half my will to stand.” 

                     Lexa’s gaze had drifted and when her eyes returned to Costia, she found her lover standing beside her bed with a wet rag in hand. “My body is hot with fever and my stomach seems to have forgotten how to settle.” There was a short pause as Lexa stared up at Costia, a small smile forming. “I also feel the urge to kiss you dearly, ai hodnes.”

“I said not to follow me.”

Clarke’s comment towards her pursuer was short and somewhat annoyed. Not stopping to look back, the blonde continued her trek through the forest. “What do you want, Lexa?”  She stepped over a decomposed log without waiting for an answer. It was only when Lexa’s excuse reached her ears, that she finally slowed to a halt. With a heavy sigh, the blonde paused to look out in front of her, then turned around.  “I’m fine.”

Green eyes locked with blue for a defiant moment before Clarke walked back and begrudgingly took the pelt.  It was clear that the commander was not going to budge on the matter.

“And what about you?” she asked, giving the other woman a skeptical once-over. “Aren’t you going to be cold?”

                          Lexa stood firm, arms extended with the rolled up pelt in her hands. One look at the blonde spoke volumes of how ill-equipped Clarke was for tonight’s chill, let alone the cold heart of winter. If Clarke planned to spend the entire night out here alone in the forest, Lexa was not going to leave until she was positive the woman would even survive the night. 

                          “Clarke,” Lexa began at the blonde’s initial refusal. Honestly, Lexa wasn’t surprised. Everything seemed to be a fight with the Skaikru woman. “You are not dressed for the cold. The fur will keep you warm.” There was a moment of silence as the blonde locked eyes with her. Lexa silently hoped that Clarke would see reason because she had no intention of returning to Polis while Clarke froze out among the trees. 

                          Much to Lexa’s relief, Clarke walked back and took the pelt. Lexa’s arms fell down to her sides, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. “My supplies are with my horse, and I have my own fur so I will not be cold.” There was another short bit of silence as Lexa debated her next move.

                          “Do you need anything else, Clarke? I have plenty of food to share if you are hungry.”

COSTIA

                        It had been a long night spent moving back and forth between her bed and the washroom. The illness had struck shortly after Lexa had departed from a small feast with a group of ambassadors. Her body had grown hot, and sweaty from fever and the food she had eaten the previous day did not sit well in her stomach. 

                        After a night of little sleep, Lexa had given the men stationed outside her room brief orders to refuse visitors today. She refused to be seen in such a pathetic, sickly state. However, the morning sunlight had hardly warmed her room before the doors to her room opened. 

                        Seated at the edge of her bed, still dressed in her night clothes, Lexa let out a breath. “I order the guards to refuse all visitors today. How did you...” Her harsh, angry words fell away the minute her eyes laid upon her visitor. She immediately stood, her room spinning for a brief moment. 

                        “Costia,” she spoke her name softly, all anger from before gone. “I did not know that you were here.”

Spoilers from tonight’s episode below. Along with some of my opinions. You have been warned. 

Lexa’s decision is honestly making me think that I’ve been writing my muse wrong. I thought Lexa would have refused Clarke’s suggestion to stand down. I mean, I know it’s Clarke (and Lexa does treat Clarke differently) but those were a ton of innocent Grounders that got slaughtered. I think the whole ‘blood must have blood’ is super justifiable here. 

Plus this grand idea to have the Grounders not retaliate isn’t gonna fix shit. Pike is eager to expand his territory and definitely won’t stop even if Lexa tries to be peaceful by Clarke’s terms. 

Eh. Just my two cents.

          Clarke took Lexa’s hand into her, flipping it over palm up. She pulled           the bandage off and held her hand up for a closer look. “It seems to           be healing well, you probably don’t need to keep bandaged up anymore.”           She dropped her hand and look up at her. “I am doing fine. You?”

                  Lexa is quiet as Clarke unwraps the bandage and examines her hand.                         She never once looks down to see how well her hand is healing. She                         honestly hadn’t given her injury much thought. It would heal in time                         like most wounds. Lexa’s gaze remains on the blonde’s face and nods                         at the blonde’s suggestion. 

                  The warmth still tingles on Lexa’s hand as it drops away from Clarke’s.                         “I am well. I was about to eat and was wondering if you were hungry and                         would like to join me?”

Mun: Goes into draft page to work on drafts. Sees a draft for Clarke.

Muse: Omg. Yay it’s Clarke! It’s Clarke! Clarke is here! Clarke! *grabby hands*

Mun: Okay we’re gonna need to tone it down if we’re gonna get any posts done, Heda.

          It was an effort to make as much noise as possible as Lexa moved through the forest a few miles outside of Polis. She had ridden by horseback until she had found Clarke’s horse tethered to a tree, and proceeded to follow the blonde’s trail by foot. Winter was beginning to settle, and there was already a thin dusting of snow coating the ground. 

          Earlier, just after dawn, Clarke had asked to be alone before riding out. The blonde had promised to return, and Lexa had spent the day honoring Clarke’s wishes. That was, until the sun began to fall and, Lexa remembered the few supplies Clarke had taken with her. 

          With a heavy fur rolled up underneath her arm, Lexa followed Clarke’s trail until she finally spotted the blonde. With all the noise she had been making, there was no way Clarke hadn’t heard her coming. Which was the point since Lexa didn’t want to scare Clarke on top of breaking her word...again. 

          Stepping forward, Lexa held out the rolled up heavy fur. “I know you requested to be alone, but you have been gone for most of the day, and I realized that you did not bring enough furs to keep away the cold. I was worried you might fall ill.”

          “If you keep going like this than you will be easy prey for               the unforgiving chill of winter.”
