why won’t you answer me
jessica rabbit is literally a sex symbol though she can't be asexual?
she is in romo with a rabbit because he makes her laugh and aside from using her looks to get things out of people she literally never once shows interest in anything or anyone sexually through the entire movie and is clearly appalled when anyone makes advances towards her like there is canonical evidence that jessica rabbit from the classic motion picture who framed rogger rabbit is an asexual character
I am here as fuck for this. Jessica Rabbit for new asexual icon.
“She can’t be asexual because she’s hot tho”
“I can only see her as a sexual object so I can’t imagine her not wanting to have sex with me.”
I’ve always remembered the line “I’m not bad, I’m just drawn that way” as Jessica’s admission that while sexualized, she isn’t inherently a sexual entity.
I mean hell, literally, her line before is “You don’t know how hard it is being a woman looking the way I do.”, to which Eddie responds; “You don’t know how hard it is being a man looking at a woman looking the way you do.”
I think that’s pretty damning evidence to her asexuality. The whole plot point with Jessica is how everyone is either convinced she’s sleeping with every human and toon around, or why does she stay faithful to Roger.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit does a great job at satirizing Hollywood/American culture and ideals when it comes to appearances. It also does a great job at hiding some really well thought out challenges to how we look at others in plain sight.
I completely believe that Jessica Rabbit is an asexual romantic (hetero/bi/pan/etc not sure, and to be honest, I don’t know if that part is important, as she’s married to the toon she loves).
I LOVE this headcanon <3
This is important!
This headcanon is just so perfect I had to draw it

YEEEESSS
I haven’t seen this post in a thousand years and it’s gotten EVEN MORE EXCELLENT.
Plus! There’s the scene where you think “patty cake” is a euphemism for sex, but then you see the pictures, and she’s literally playing patty cake with Marvin Acme.
In the end people can dress however they want. how they dress never means they owe you sex.
Self-Affirmation Shower Ritual with Coconut Sugar Scrub
I just had THE NICEST shower ritual and I wanted to share! I used it to center myself and put myself in the right mindset to do some other witchy tasks, but it’s also great as just a mood booster or a relaxing way to finish (or start!) your day.
The sugar scrub is optional, if you have another scrub or wash you’d rather use then go ahead and put that aside for later. If you want to make the scrub, the ingredients I used were these:
Coconut sugar (or brown sugar, or regular sugar is also fine)
Honey
Olive oil
Fresh mint, cut up into small bits
Fresh rosemary leaves
A few drops of lemon juice
A drop or two of your favorite skin-safe EO (totally optional)
Stir the ingredients together clockwise and let it sit with a piece of rose quartz as you prepare for your shower.
Set the mood for your shower with candles, music, low lighting, whatever will help you differentiate this shower from any other normal shower. Undress and stand in front of the mirror. Brush your teeth, brush your hair, get as clean as you can without actually taking a shower. When you’re ready, start the water and get in.
Take your shower as you normally would, saving the scrub for last. As you wash your hair, say the following chant, being very deliberate with every word:
I am calm, I am beautiful I am human, I am a witch I am imperfect, I am clean Everything that does not serve me is washed away The anger, the frustration The self doubt Everything that does not serve me is washed away It leaves my body, disappears down the drain and is gone.
Repeat the chant (or whatever variation of that you feel applies most to you, feel free to improvise as long as you make affirmative statements intended to build yourself up) as your wash your body and as you shave (if you shave).
Now, take the scrub and hold it in your hands. Close your eyes and repeat the chant once more, focusing all of your energy and words into the scrub.
Open your eyes and begin applying the scrub to your body, rubbing it in in clockwise motions. As you do, say:
Cleansing wash for body and soul Release me now from energies old From negativity set me free As I will it, so it will be
Repeat that chant as you wash the scrub off, or until you feel like the spell has begun to take effect. Watch the bits of herbs disappear down the drain and visualize the things you want to be free of disappearing with them. Feel the olive oil on your skin and think of it as a protective barrier when you step out of the shower, which will deflect all negative energies.
Complete the rest of your usual shower routine, but be mindful as you do so that you’re not doing things with the intention of “correcting” yourself. For example if you look in the mirror and see a flaw you want to fix or cover up, acknowledge that thought and let it pass. This ritual is for building up your own energy as you are, and shouldn’t be viewed as self improvement. If it helps, feel free to repeat the first chant until you’re done with your routine.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I did! Happy witching! ✨🛀💕
Bye bye out of my mind
You say hello and I don't reply
Got my own friends, you got yours
You don't know me anymore
I'm on the way up
Look at the ground I won't wait up
Not coming down from this
Got a new vibe who dis?
Got a new vibe who dis?
Rip didn't mean to get savage
2019 but you know the old adage
Never judge a person by their worst picture
Gotta look deeper, gotta find a finsta
Got my own fam
Too bad you're not in it
I'm head of the table
Every night for dinner
You a little salty
Better pass the pepper
Go ahead and at me
But I got the paper
Bye bye out of my mind
You say hello and I don't reply
Got my own friends, you got yours
You don't know me anymore
I'm on the way up
Look at the ground I won't wait up
Not coming down from this
Got a new vibe who dis?
Got a new vibe, got a new vibe who dis?
Got a new, got a, got a new vibe who dis?
Got a new vibe, got a new vibe who dis?
Got a, got a, got a
Got no chill, if you call it go to voicemail
Slid in my DM and I guarantee that you fail
Feeling so high I'm on another level
They say I'm so bad, call me the Devil
Just like a vegetable we 'bout to turn up
Whole crowd bounce, and I think I own this club
Sun is coming up but we're on a roll
Do it all again, talk about squad goals
Bye bye out of my mind
You say hello and I don't reply
Got my own friends, you got yours
You don't know me anymore
I'm on the way up
Look at the ground I won't wait up
Not coming down from this
Got a new vibe who dis?
Got a new vibe, got a new vibe who dis?
Got a new, got a, got a new vibe who dis?
Got a new vibe, got a new vibe who dis?
Got a, got a, got a, got a new vibe who dis?
Who dis?
Who dis?
Who dis? Got a new vibe who dis?

this might be a hard pill to swallow for college students but getting drunk all the time isnt a personality trait it’s alcoholism
Here’s another pill: companies and ad teams know that your 20s are extremely stressful and they purposely target you because they don’t care about making us all alcoholics as much as they care about profiting off of us.
cooler pill that I’d wish I’d known about when I was younger: if you’re struggling with alcohol, AA isn’t your only option. AA can be a bit dogmatic and sometimes hostile to certain communities, especially the LGBT.
there’s a group called SMART Recovery that has free meetings just like AA, but it’s all science-based and secular.
and here’s the thing for college students: unlike with AA, it’s okay if your goal is moderation and not abstinence. no one is going to make you feel like a bad guy for being young and just wanting help getting healthier, but perhaps not wanting to commit to being totally abstinent. google SMART Recovery, guys. they’re awesome. :)
Reblog for non-religious version of AA
Just be careful to avoid these groups. The Church of Scientology loves to use substance abuse support groups as a front.
Reblog this if your bored. If you don't,
then you will be bored for 7 years.
Not risking it.

Illustrated cards for the provinces of the Russian Empire (published in St. Petersburg 1856). Each card presents an overview of the province’s history, geography, culture and economics. The front depicts distinguishing features such as rivers, mountains, and major cities and industries. The back shows a map of the province, the provincial seal, information about the population, and a picture of the local dress of the inhabitants.
The cards shown here are Yakutsk Oblast (which split from Irkutsk Governorate in 1805), the Transbaikal region (Zabaykalsky Oblast), Kamchatka Oblast (including Chukotka), Russian America, and Caucasus Krai.
