INTRODUCTION : The Basics
Nowadays when we look around kids we only see them following the most basic and mainstream education from school. Although school plays a vital role in shaping up careers but what they focus the most on is academics. The saddest part is that examinations and assignments are given more importance than the child’s mental health and creativity which results in the child not developing further interest in something that they could’ve excelled in and enjoyed as well.
We want to bring this problem in light through our program by offering solutions and opportunities which will help them explore their area of interest and motivate them to actually go and pursue it. We’ll also be working on establishing an understanding between them and their parents. Usually what parents think is that if their child is good in academics only then will he or she excel in life and otherwise not. Our goal will be to help the parents understand that there are many career options available out there that their child can pursue and be successful in. We’ll help them empathize with their children and improve their relationships.
: : Our installation will help us monitor where the problem actually lies in. Students will be asked to place the color coded lego pieces in the category which they relate the most to. This will help us achieve he following things: - It’ll improve our understanding on what areas we need to work the most on so we can keep updating our program accordingly. - The students will be able to see for themselves that they are not the only ones facing certain problems which will help them understand that not being perfect is completely okay and acceptable. - It’ll help them figure out what works best for others and can try those things out for themselves.
Our installation will be in the shape of a blank white book which will keep becoming more and more captivating and beautiful with the constant addition of colors.
