The Harrison’s Liverpool homes: 12 Arnold Grove (George Harrison’s birthplace); 25 Upton Green (where the Harrison family moved in January 1950, after nearly twenty years on the waiting list); and 174 Mackets Lane (where the family moved in 1962 - this was the home Beatlemanics besieged, as Harold Harrison recalled, and where van loads of fan mail arrived). In 1965, George moved his parents out to Appleton, Warrington, specifically Sevenoaks, a bungalow on Old Pewterspear Lane (where George composed “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”).
