"And nothing major…muggle boys are so easy to fool. Can get them to do almost anything I want!"
"Fair enough," she said with a smirk.
"What'd you have them do?" she asked, way too intrigued in talk of muggles than she should have been.
"Just alright!? It sounds….exotic almost"
"Oh love, you know that’s not the only thing that happened over the summer…”
"We'll have to go one day, then you'll realize it's not all that it's cracked up to be,"
"...What happened?!?"
Theodore took the opportunity to sit in the chair opposite of the girl, quick to make himself at home.
"Don’t be rude Veronica, it’s not very attractive." he said frowning at her.
"You're not very attractive," retorted Veronica with a scoff as she began to drink some more of her tea.
"It's really very good you should try some," she said, after taking a sip, her mock anger with the boy suddenly forgotten.
I thought I saw Hermione walk in here..
"What're you stalking her?"
Padma turns around, making sure she was being spoken to. “Oh, uh me? Homework. Thought I could get some done here.”
Veronica raised her brow in question, not quite sure who the girl was, Veronica knew that she must be from Hogwarts but found herself confused when the girl said that she wanted to study in Hogsmeade. "You came to Hogsmeade, to study?" she asked, sarcasm dripping in her voice, "I haven't a clue who you are but darling you shouldn't be wasting your time studying in Hogsmeade when you can do a thousand other things that're much more fun."
"Even better then! Never been to Estonia, how is that?"
"It's all right,"
"So you did nothing but stay at home this summer. That's a little hard to believe."
"Just a bit?" she asked, her brows raised.
"Friends usually see each other more than once a month, Nott. Especially when they’re both prefects, live in the same house dormitories," she said, slightly annoyed that she hadn’t seen the boy in so long.
"Just a bit." he confirmed, laughing lightly when she raised her eyebrows.
"Awh was somebody missing Theo?" he questioned, knowing that he should have made an effort to see her more often.
"Hmph," she said mostly to herself as she moved to take another sip of her tea,
"Miss you? Me? Don't make me laugh," she said with a mock scoff.
"A summer frolicking around London? Make the boys swoon the second you look at them, I’m assuming?"
"Merlin, I wish…"
"Paris, Prague, and Estonia actually,"
"I spent no time in London."
"Good to see you too Smethly, you’ve been missed a bit."
he rolls his eyes teasingly at her.
"Last time I checked I’m pretty sure we were friends yet you still manage to give me unreasonable amounts of boredom."
"Just a bit?" she asked, her brows raised.
"Friends usually see each other more than once a month, Nott. Especially when they're both prefects, live in the same house dormitories," she said, slightly annoyed that she hadn't seen the boy in so long.
"I don’t believe that for a second!"
"Had a dull summer back in Ireland…dealing with bickering little brothers and wishing to get back to Hogwarts where hopefully something interesting happens."
"Sounds like the opposite of mine..."
"Boredom. Complete and utter boredom." -
he says with a smile, lips curling into a wry smirk-
"Well, well, well, if it isn't Theodore Nott," she started, her nose scrunching slightly,
"Perhaps if you had friends, you wouldn't be so bored," she said, her tone taunting in nature.
"Gossip? Please…"
"Just wanted to know what my friends are up to!"
"I'm not up to anything,"
"What have you been up to?"
"Looking for people to catch me up on the happenings over the summer, of course."
"How’ve you been babes?"
"So you're just here looking for your usual gossip B?"
"Fine,"
"What brings you to the tea shop?" -she says with a smirk as she sips away from her cup-
"Have anything with chocolate?"
"Loads," she said as she pushed a pile of candy towards the boy.
"I could use a little excitement," she answered, grinning. "What do you have in mind?"
"We could bunk class and sneak off to Hogsmeade, get drunk so I won't have to deal with this hangover...or we could do something else that seems rather stupid."
Cho grabbed Veronica’s hand and pulled her up easily. “Maybe, you have any ideas of something better to do?” Cho asked playfully, putting her hand on her hip and tilting her head.
"Yeah I do," she said with a smirk. "Are you up for it though Chang?"
