Surah Al- Baqarah:
Yesterday I was completely comforted by this beautiful verse which reminded me that, no matter how great my sadness might be, or no matter how lost I feel because of my struggle with Eman, I find myself again and again turning to Allah swt for His Mercy & Forgiveness, knowing that He is Always there
Patience isn’t easy. Patience is tears. Patience is feeling alone. Patience is wanting to smash your fists into sujud. Patience is taxing. Patience is swallowing insults. Patience is smiles covering tears. Patience is crying for a response from God: “behold, I am near.” [2:186]
وإذا خسرت كل شيء ، فلن تفقد الله ، وهذا غني تمامًا ومطمئن
And if you lost everything, you did not lose God, and this is completely hopeful and reassuring.
احيانا يهدم الله خططك قبل خططك تهدمك
Sometimes Allah destroys your plans before your plans destroy you...

“Whoever can’t afford to buy his child some shoes for Eid, they can take them for free. My and your sustenance is Allah’s responsibility. May you be well every year”

One of the scholars of Islam said: “I pray to Allah when i am in need, if He gave me what I needed, i would feel happy once. And if He did not give me what i needed, I would be happy ten times. Because the first is my choice, and the second, is the choice of the Knower of the unseen”.
It’s beautiful to trust in the Lord of mankind, because Allah knows, and we do not. That is a healing answer to when we say to ourselves “Why is this happening to me?”.
Because Allah knows, and we do not know.

There are two main things you have to do. The first is to move your heart from dwelling on the things of this world and move it to dwell on the Hereafter, then focus all your heart on the Qur’an and ponder its meanings and why it was revealed. Try to understand something from every ayah and apply it to the disease of your heart. These ayat were revealed (to treat) the disease of the heart, so you will be healed, by the permission of Allah.
—Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله on curing one’s heart
We are a people whom Allah honored through Islam…

“In life it is beneficial to know that when people harm you, especially with evil words, in reality they don’t harm you and only harm themselves.”
~ْ Shaykh Al-Sa’di (May Allah have mercy on him)
