Have I ever mentioned that I hate Fanfiction.net’s “just hope you don’t notice a typo later or you’ll have to resubmit the whole chapter to fix it” interface because I really do.

Yeah and I really wish they would add a small author note’s section (100 words or so maybe?) to the top of each chapter that you can either fill out or leave blank... I so often have some comment I want to make, often a reply to a comment from a reader, but... not happening.

Good analysis overall, but I question the common fan perception of Yellow being shy and quiet. That only really applies to when Red is around, and barely then either.

Just look at her first interactions with Oak, Crystal and Bill... her fight with Team Rocket on the S.S. Anne... her interactions with Silver and Red during FRLG... all of those are anything but shy and quiet.

In fact, the only time I can really remember her acting shy is when taking her hat off for the first time near Red, in GSC. She does have some confidence issues, but those mainly come from her setting way too high standards for herself.
