Kids introduced me ta this tumblr thing, and it seems fun, sooooooo I thought I'd take a crack at it! Ask me anythin'. Except for... well, guess ya gotta check the rules on that, don'tcha?

Rules:

- Don't get weird in the ask box. Y'know what I mean. (Ooc: I can tolerate slightly suggestive asks, I'll assume you didn't even mean to be suggestive, but considering the cuphead I am roleplaying is canonically married, don't be a freak 💔 I might allow one freaky ask but it'll only be answered so I can go "WHAT?? WHAT. FREAK!!!" and then use mind powers to explode you/j)

- Don't come in bein' a jerk, you will be ignored / your ask will be deleted. (Ooc: But if I am feeling in a particularly good mood, I might just humor you! Might.)

- Don't do a whole buncha spam mail, that's stuff a hassle. (Ooc: And by that, I mean please don't send like 20 asks at once or something TㅡT I am not quick with responses, since I dont... roleplay often. Sincerest of apologies lol)

- Don't say gross stuff about my family. Don't ship us either! Where are you trying to ship us to??? (Ooc: And I think it's clear I mean. Incest. Parent x child. Seriously, don't. Don't do that. At all. You will be blocked.)

- Be respectful. Ain't hard ta do.

- Don't like? Scroll! Or block, cuz I've been doin' that a ton since I've gotten into social media. Love it. (This is a rp blog, and the mod is insanely cringe LMAO so if your cringe toleration is low, wouldn't recommend!)

What is this blog about?

OOC: This is a, family?,,, roleplay blog!! It's sort of separated from motm because this is more for gamblingrainbows, a ship between Epic Face and Cuphead! Funnily enough, despite their shipkids also having blogs, Epic is listed as 26, so... this is an alternate alternate universe where they were given fully grown children in their late twenties 🤯🤯🤯🤯 heh

I know Cup wouldn't type the way I do, but my roleplay experience is "Character speaking" action, 'thought', etc! I am inexperienced, but I will do my best to keep at least a little to the motm canon, and when I type I tend to imagine it's moreso him... speaking? Yeah!

What's your guys favorite thing to do together?

"Prolly talkin'." Cuphead said, though he stopped walking as he thought of a serious answer. "I don't really have one. Can't choose one thing over all others! Everythin' about him is wonderful to me."

"I like it when he gets off work an' I'm not in any rush so we just... sit together. Enjoy eachother's company. I like bein' able to hear his heartbeat while I hold him, to listen to him ramble about his day, then maybe I'll talk about mine. I like our dates, even when they go wrong. We make it fun! He makes it fun. Just doin' things with him, bein' by eachother's sides... That's my favorite."

"Ah, Mugs romantical stuff is rubbin' off on me." He mumbled, shoving his hands into his pockets and continuing on his way. But despite the comment, he looked happy.

What was the wedding like?

"Well, we both had a hand in the guest list and decorations, we had ta get a venue chosen, 'n then after he dealt with tables and organizin' and also a whole theme 'n when the weddin' would take place an' checkin' the weather on that day and the invites, all that jazz--" He took a deep breath, continuing, "I'd say it was pretty great!"

He paused, blushing slightly. "Honestly, I kinda got the... I dunno, pre-wedding jitters? I was scared I'd mess up or sumthin'. Mugs and the others had to give me a whole pep talk. He was my best man! I think I mentioned that before, haven't I? Funnily enough, I think he got more emotional than me durin' the ceremony. Speakin of that..."

"I was steamin' up a storm by the time Epic was out." His face had only gotten redder. "And I'm... steamin' right now, aren't I? A-anyway, there were our, vows, and our wedding rings and the... the kiss, which, y'know, meant we were official! Sometimes I still can't believe it... how'd I score such a guy? Oh, and the after party—" He grinned, giggling.

"Me and my husband, Epic, my husband-- heheh, we got out on the dance floor, mingled with the guests cuz they were invited for a reason, after all. We had food, we had the cake, it was awesome by the way – drinks, and we allowed a lil bit of alcohol, since I think Epic's boss – Derp? – drinks. Then Bendy got drunk and dragged Mugs, pretty sure he wasn't done crying, onto the dance floor. Oh, oh, and then- well, we got pictures of it at home. Dang, I wish I could show ya! I will when I get home... or ya can ask Epic."

Taking a moment to really breathe, and to just think, he glanced up at the sky. It was bright, a bit cloudy. Nice. "I think that night was probably some of the best sleep I'd ever had. I felt... happy. Peaceful, even." His grin had softened into a smile, and he looked back towards the ground. "Safe."

What was you and epic's first kiss like? 👀👀👀

"Geez, you anons sure do like askin' about these more personal kinda things, don'tcha? I mean, I don't mind all of them, but, our... first... kiss? Haha, hah..." He swallowed thickly, clearly flustered over the memory. Tugging at the collar of his shirt, he sighed, "I guess it-- uh-" He hesitated, "I don't think I'll be sharin' the details of that, actually. But it was, eh... Lots of... teeth." He finished awkwardly.

His tone got somewhat serious, like he was offended. He narrowed his eyes, crossing his arms.

"They make us proud!" Cuphead added with a grin, wrapping an arm around his husband's waist.

"And he's right about that last bit. Watch what ya ask, stranger."

What's your favorite thing about epic?

"Everything! His personality, his voice, his smile, his eyes, his teeth – sharper than mine, 'n I like ta think I've got quite a pair of chompers – the way he dresses..." You then stand there as he continues to name every possible thing he can about Epic. When you dare leave, he puts a hand on your shoulder and casually pulls you back. "—I mean, I can't just pick one thing over all others. I love everythin' about him! But, uh... if I had to choose, it'd probably be his laugh. Ya ever hear him laugh? Never gets old. Nuthin' about him does... not ta me, anyway. He's wonderful."

You manage to escape around five minutes later, not because he's done, but because he's so lost in his thoughts about his husband that he's forgotten about you. You have a feeling he'll continue talking to himself for who knows how long.

Cuphead looked like he was holding back a grimace, going through what one could only assume was the seven stages of grief. Or he was just really embarrassed. "I'm surprised he said yes."

"My brotha gave me advice on what ta do, since he was the one that pushed me ta do it, but his way wasn't really my... style, I guess? I didn't wanna do anythin' ovah the top or get all romantic, and then I--" He hissed through his teeth, cringing at the memory. "I acted like an idiot! A-and then Epic teased me about it afterwords!" He rubs a hand over his face, face flushed and head steaming. "What kinda guy just walks up to his boyfriend and says, 'the weather sure is nice, will ya marry me'? What was I thinkin'...?"

Cuphead paused, glancing around before his gaze settled where he assumed you'd be. The silence stretched uncomfortably before he went back to cleaning.

"Don't know why that concerns you." He murmured.

"He doesn't mind. Don't think he woulda been my best man otherwise." He chuckled at the memory, leaning back. "He was shocked ta hear me 'n Epic got together, 'specially when I mentioned the idea of... proposin'. Maybe I was too, considerin' I was never the romantic type. I wouldn't have done it without him tellin' me ta go for it though! Not until a few more years, at least."

He tilted his head, studying the floor like it had insulted him before setting the rag down and stretching. "So there ya go. He's fine with it."

"He loves his job, he's a natural at what he does, 'n even I like watchin' his show! Who doesn't?" He said with a chuckle.

He paused, hesitating. The longer his silence went on, the more his brows furrowed.

"But," He added, glancing around, "Between you 'n me. I get a lil... not... not jealous, but annoyed, y'know? Don't get me wrong, he deserves all the attention he gets, and I'm happy he gets all of it! I just... don't like folks gawkin' at my husband." He muttered, before shaking his head.

"But that don't mattah. Whatever makes him happy makes me happy, 'n that's what's important."
