THIS SCOUT
× He is not canon Scout. I have used the comics, shorts, and official videos to inform his behaviours, but he is not the direct canon Scout. None of his original team are here, so although he will interact with other characters in a friendly manner and assume rapport among other RED teammates, he is not the same Scout your characters probably know.
× Please don't assume common headcanons apply. I will have a list of personal headcanons shortly. If you do make an assumption, I will both play it off in-RP and add an OOC note in the tags - no shade to you or anyone with those HCs, that's just not how I interpret him.
× Generally friendly, though wary of BLUs and anybody who is not RED but is in RED base. Afraid of Zed Conagher and may shoot any Zed Conaghers on sight.
× He will yap. Unless he's fighting, he has a tendency to keep talking. If he's quiet, something's wrong.
× Cares deeply about his team, even if they don't always reciprocate. He struggles to show softness and doesn't like being poked and prodded or touched without warning (may react aggressively to physical contact)
× Please DM if you'd like to establish a pre-existing friendship/connection. This includes them being from the same base, past fling, pre-merc friendships, workplace connection - if you want him to treat you as a friend off the cuff, talk to me about it.
× He has personal canon now. I've been RPing on Tumblr long enough to have some interesting character stories, so I'll be putting those in a list eventually.
× There's two sides to him - the loudmouthed, obnoxious merc with a warped sense of morality; and the friendly socialite who's a little dumb but likes everyone being safe and happy. He's still an overconfident braggart across the board, maybe a little annoying to others at times, but he's surprisingly tuned-in socially. Usually this blog will have the friendly socialite, however if you get him into any sort of situation where he's properly fighting, he will switch into the obnoxious prick.
× Follows the Respawn Hypothesis, but with the added idea that mercs do sometimes (often) come back with short-lived phantom pain from their previous self, often related to their fatality. Respawn in this hypothesis is far more stable and reliable than the Emesis Blue version.
× He is posting from our modern version of 2026 but thanks to the magic of Timeline Convergence, can interact with anyone from any time period. He has also read the comics, watched the shorts, and played the game a little.
× He has seen your ships. He is fairly progressive for a guy from 1972 however he is still a little... weirded out by certain things. His general view is that so long as everybody involved is being safe and is comfortable and having fun, it's none of his business what folks get up to.

There's only one thing he could be talking about, and Scout's face lights up, splitting into a grin almost equal in size to his teammate's.
"No way! You finished it?!" He leaps off the lounge excitedly. "Show me, show me, show me! It's the mini-sentry, right? I gotta see!"
Scout. No one was like the kids in highschool movies, we all did dumb or embarrassing stuff.
Hell, even in highschool I was the biggest nerd and didn't realize a girl was hitting on me for the longest time.
The most embarrassing was when I was forced into choir and my voice decided to crack at the worst possible time. During a performance, in front of the whole school, and everyone's family.
It was so loud a few of the kids looked at me and tried not to laugh.
Maybe you wasn't, but I ain't you. I ain't got traumatic memries-a high school like evryone out here - ya ain't gotta project ya high school horror onto me.
If havin ya voice break durin a choir performance is the worst thing that happened to ya, ya got it pretty easy. Maybe ya gotta reframe the way ya look at stuff and remember that EVERY guy's voice breaks and EVERYONE does weird stuff as a teenager, dats literally what bein a teenager is for - test-drivin life witout parental supavission!

Medic: Idk the name of it but the crossbow, medigun, and bone saw
Don't think I've ever played Soldier, I got a trickstab for my first ever kill as Spy so I can never play Spy again 🤣 and my ping is shit so Sniper is useless..
I've also found that Scouts with a lot of cosmetics tend to get targeted way more so I don't really do them anymore but my old cosmetic Loadout used to be Thirst Blood, Flak Jack, and Jungle Pants. Heavy has a pocket yeti cos it's cute.
But yeah, I mean, we got some cookin misadventures around base cos we all take it in turns to cook but there's all these new appliancers we can use to make it easier... Mostly.
Also it took me so long to scroll for those I might hafta do a FAQ thing or somthin cos I bin getting repeat questions a bit lately

Oh, I can answer this, Glitch got me up to speed hehe speed on what a Pokemons is. Obvisly anything fast but she spent like an hour telling me how Eevee is the best to catch cos it's got the most potential for revelations plus they're real cute like look at the little guy ya can't tell me they ain't adorable but yeah so I think if Im gonna have a Pokemons it has to be a Jolteon cos lightning fast and he looks real cool but also still just cuddly enough that chicks would love 'im too.
