Reading this today after I realized days ago that I only read five YAs this year so far. 😂. It is really shocking knowing that I have read 50+ YA books last year. . . . This book has been on my shelf since November last year and I have been planning to pick this one since January this year 😁. I guess this is the perfect time to commit reading this. How are you book nerds? I am definitely inna reading slump. I can't finish a book for weeks now and I have been reading a lot at the same time. . . . We watched Weatherimg With You by Makoto Shinkai btw last night and it was so good. I think it was better than Your Name. I can't stop thinking about the movie till now. . . . Also before the movie started we saw the Goldfinch trailer and it was so promising. I need to read the book ASAP. The movie looks to be an Academy Award contenter. . . . Also another update, I have been coverimg in plastic cover some of books I got from Big Bad Wolf Cebu. Look at how awesome this book is. I got it for inly 90 pesos or 1. 9 dollars. Beem flying through this one now. Almost done and I am definitely loving it. The author's prose is really easy to read and creative also. Perfectly balanced that I never found it hard to grasp. The book gripped me from the start and now I found myself unable to put this down. I need to read more from Lisa Jewell I guess . Who is excited for the third and final book of the series, The Toll? I read these two last year and it blew my mind. I am a fan of Neal Shusterman since 7th Grade- after reading his Everlost piece, but after Thunderhead, I considered him as one my favorite authors already . Scythe was cool but it was not as good as Thunderhead. Thunderhead raise the bar higher. If you think Scythe was epic, wait for Thunderhead to let you redefine epicness. If you have read Scythe and still not able to pick Thunderhead, you're missing an awesome book. Read Thunderhead now before The Toll comes out. It is definitely a worth read. The characters developed into something we will remember for along time. The story evolved into this complex conflicts between politics, personal integrity and finding purpose in life. The hard rain earlier today actually made me realize that I have been staying inside the house for straight six days.
