"What are you going to do, Murtagh? Kiss me then run away again? Either way, I'll repeat it. You need to see a therapist."

        “We’re going to get you back, I promise,” the dark haired boy whispered to the snake that was wrapping herself around his arm. “You’ll be you again.”

"Really, Murtagh? You're talking to the dragon again? You really need to see a therapist."

  "You didn’t know him,Sonny! I don’t care what you,or anyone thinks, as long as they don’t think I’m like that monster. I hated that man till the day he died.”

"And I was under the misguided impression that kissing you would have helped with your problems."

Dearest Sunny, 

            My departure may not have been at the right time, but I’ve come to the conclusion that staying would only prevent you from moving on with your life. If I were to remain with you, you would be forever unhappy, and I could never wish anything like that upon someone as sweet as yourself.

            Know that not a day will go by that I won’t think of you, though I do hope you’ll forget about me. I do not want you to dwell on us, and whatever is in our — now — past. I want you to look forwards, look forwards to your life and find someone who can make you truly happy.

            Know that I will love you, Sunny, for as long as I live. I’ll pray to the gods to be able to see you, if only once more.
