Our mission, as young black people, is to display for our society the negative impact that police brutality has not only on young black men, but all black people. We also strive to inform our communities about the government's mistreatment minorities. Lastly, we want to connect with others in the black lives matter movement, hear their stories, and hopefully tell some of ours.

On August 9, 2014, Brown, an unarmed black 18-year old, was shot and killed by Wilson, who is white. The shooting led to demonstrations, confrontations with police, and some looting and violence.

What happened to serve and protect? Who's suposed to serve and protect us from them? They're just getting paid to do something we're already doing. No one else will soooo....

There's always more than what we expect. There's always an "excuse" as to why they were shot...excuses that are invalid and can obviously be proved yet they aren't even considered. There's so many frames to this issue and they'll never get the picture...
