Origin Karlach had no unique dialogue for, used Origin Gale to: - speak with His Majesty - speak with Bex, promise to rescue Danis

used avatar swap from Karlach to Minthara, cannot believe that worked - Minthara got XP from the conversation with His Majesty - then I made Minthara the player avatar - Minthara dismissed Karlach to camp - Minthara asked Karlach to rejoin the party, which gave Karlach the same amount of XP that Minthara had - Minthara cast the swap back to Karlach as player avatar

tried bringing Alfira into the room she'd be in at the inn, but she did not have any NPC dialogue

campaign evening 24, END OF ACT I SPOILERS BELOW:

SUMMARY:

Origin Karlach had no unique dialogue for, so used Origin Gale to: - encounter Elminster at the Mountain Pass - speak with Elminster at camp

no matter what I tried (long rest, POV swap, removing from party overnight, reloading etc), could not get Karlach's regular companion dialogue about Mystra not being worth worshipping

Gale promised Tara to return home once this is all over
