--- Jecht is a reluctant antagonist in Final Fantasy X. He is Tidus's father; one of High Summoner Braska's legendary guardians, and a major blitzball star player in his hometown of Zanarkand. Jecht is a tall, muscular man, with a tendency to drink heavily, and wields a large black sword in battle.

Lenne stared intently at the man. That tattoo.. She had seen it before, though she couldn’t be certain where. She closed her eyes and tried to remember. Think Lenne… She paused for a moment, concentrating. Yuna! Yuna had worn the symbol across her chest, and that man… that man who looked like Shuyin. They both wore the symbol. Could he be from Spira? she wondered. 

After a moment trapped in thought, she realized she must have been standing there staring at the man. His question broke interrupted her thoughts and actually startled her a bit. “Oh I— My name is Lenne,” she said bowing before him. “My apologies,” she said smiling, hoping she didn’t manage to offend him.

'Woah, there! D-don't bow!' If there's one thing he learnt from his travels, it's being humble.

Lenne... Now why did that name sound familiar...?

'You seem like someone that I've met before, I can't remember where for the life of me... Are you from Spira, at least?' No point in beating around the bush.

A lion? Well, Nanaki was already used to being mistaken for something else, so he simply shrug that off.

But that man also totally seemed to ignore his words, or at least gave no answers on his questions, nothing that really amused him. Quite the cheerful, but totally ignorant type apparently. With a somewhat annoyed face, he looked into the man’s eyes in disbelief. “I’m a species on my own, not the one to walk on two feet though.” Although he could do that too, but it was difficult to stand like that for a longer time and he didn’t like it.

“I am probably not the type of creature that you know. I am not even from this world.” Unsure how to react to that, but still curious about who that man is, Nanaki kept talking, keeping his calm manner. “Who are you to assume such a thing and what is a Ronso, that is supposed to look like me?”

Nanaki was quite curious about the place where where the man from now too. Would there really be a tribe similar to his? Hopefully he could try to talk with him normally now that he had properly introduced himself.

This is getting more and more interesting; Jecht quietly thought to himself whilst fiddling with his chin, gently. He had heard of other worlds before, but each time, he seemed to fail to convince himself that there were. What would it be like? Wondering again; he doesn't like to admit it, but sometimes, even the blitz king's scared of the unknown.

Jecht stuttered. 'Uh-- Yeah. Sorry I'm quick to judge... Supposing that you're actually from another world; the Ronsos are quite... Um... Bulky?! They're built to fight, and usually have fur, even though they wear [or wore, as Jecht's yet to see any here] some sort of clothes.' The blitzer never did have an affinity with words.

The old man’s appearance caught Nanaki’s attention. He didn’t seem to be surprised about all the people and himself as an animal at all, but was rather amused to be surrounded by masses. Or maybe he didn’t observe every single one yet? Quite a thoughtless act either way.

Upon the man’s question, Nanaki stepped forward and decided to have a talk with him. “My name is Nanaki. Who are you? You seem to enjoy the attention given here.”

'Oh, a lion! Are you kidding me? Who sent you?'

When the animal came, he was a little stunned - he had to admit - but recovered fast to assume that the 'lion', closely resembling the appearance of the Ronso, might have been a 'welcome home' present. It wouldn't be in the blitzballer to turn down something like that! Jecht began to kneel to it's height...

'My name is Nanaki. Who are you? You seem to enjoy the attention given here.'

'Wait, what? Aren't Ronso supposed to walk on two feet?!' Questioned Jecht, mesmerised by the creature.

Gabranth gave the man a once-over, looking somewhat disdainful as his eyes passed over the man's stubbled face and bare chest. He looked like any drunk off the streets of Lowtown; what was he doing here? "Hm," was all he said.

Jecht stole a glance at the armoured man, presumably a knight. He quickly brushed passed the other; it was obvious that the stranger did not require his presence here.

'Hm.'

This simple word sent waves of adrenaline through his body. Anyone who knew the blitzballer would also know that the great Jecht did not require pointless, meaningless remarks. In this situation, however, Jecht immediately paused, and held back his malice against the 'knight'. Almost aggressively, he pronounced,

'What d'ya want?'

He's used to this; his stride took him from his makeshift home into a crowd of people once again. Only this time, the group in front of him was... Unusual, to say the least. Jecht seemed to recognise one of them, but he couldn't say for sure. The rest, they all seem to have such bizarre attire to him, maybe the other five were also from out of this world...

With a rather natural expression and a calm tone (not much could surprise the thirtysomething drunk blitz king anymore), the self-proclaimed magnificient blitzballer approached them, armed with curiosity and an intent to discover and explore.

'And who might you be?'
