Gabranth approached the newcomer, taking in his appearance. Never before had he seen armor of that make. He had a strong desire to ask about it, but he wondered if that topic would be best suited for a later meeting. At the very least, he would hold off mentioning it during first introductions. "Welcome," the Judge said, inclining his head slightly to the warrior.

The Warrior of Light had been casually wandering, taking in the pleasant scenery around him and getting lost in his own thoughts. There was nothing pressing that needed done at the moment and he took the chance to relax while he could. He had only just arrived in the area, when an unfamiliar voice caught his attention. The stranger, clad in elegantly designed armor, welcomed him as he approached. “Greetings,” the Warrior said in return. “I am,” he went to introduce himself, only to realize how awkward it must sound to others when he introduced himself with only a title. “…a warrior of light.” The lack of a name always made introductions a bit problematic.

Rhyme smiled at the crowd of people and waved her hand, her bell necklace jingling a little as she does. "Hi, everyone. My name's Rhyme, short of Raimu Bito. It's nice to meet all of you."

Gabranth gave the man a once-over, looking somewhat disdainful as his eyes passed over the man's stubbled face and bare chest. He looked like any drunk off the streets of Lowtown; what was he doing here? "Hm," was all he said.

Jecht stole a glance at the armoured man, presumably a knight. He quickly brushed passed the other; it was obvious that the stranger did not require his presence here.

'Hm.'

This simple word sent waves of adrenaline through his body. Anyone who knew the blitzballer would also know that the great Jecht did not require pointless, meaningless remarks. In this situation, however, Jecht immediately paused, and held back his malice against the 'knight'. Almost aggressively, he pronounced,

'What d'ya want?'

"Hey! Come here an' say dat shit ta' mah face! Wha's your beef?"

Gabranth had been watching the young man with subdued curiosity for several minutes while on his way to Moogletown's library. Never before had he seen a soldier with such a bubbly and cheerful demeanor. It confused him, in a way. After some time, he dared to make an approach. He removed his helmet to properly look into the young man's eyes. "I don't believe we've met," he said evenly, holding out his hand. "Judge Magister Gabranth, of the Archadian Empire."

Catching a glimpse of someone approaching him to the side, Zack quietly slowed his casual pace about this new town to a halt.  He flashed the strange man a friendly grin, Mako-infused hues flitting about the other's attire-- that was definitely some interesting-looking armor he donned.  With a curious head cant, the raven-haired swordsman watched as he slid the horned helmet off, revealing a severe countenance and short dirty-blond hair.

"Gabranth, huh?"  That introduction was definitely a mouthful and Zack couldn't say much of any of it was familiar to him-- not even the guy's accent-- but he could at least catch his name.  He nodded lightly and outstretched his arm to take the proffered hand, giving it a firm shake.  "Nice to meet you!  The name's Zack Fair," he replied, grin never wavering.  He opened his mouth as if to add on his own rank to match, but-- that rank... didn't belong to him anymore.  No longer SOLDIER 1st Class Zack Fair, just... Zack.  He never... really had the time or the mindset to allow himself to adjust to that, despite it having been several years now since his official paperwork had him down as KIA and a fugitive of the Shin-Ra army.

Grin turning a bit sheepish, he lifted a hand to rub the back of his neck, the other coming to rest at his hip.  "Guess everyone around here's from someplace else, huh?  Don't think I ever heard of the, uh... the place you're from."  He thought it best he didn't even try to pronounce the name (not that he even remembered it in full-- Arcade-something or other); it sounded foreign and if his experience trying to pronounce Wutaian names and words was any example, it'd take him a few tries to pronounce most things...

Friendly smile made its way to heart shaped face as she waved a hand, relieved at least someone was this polite. 

"It's alright! So who are you? My name's Eiko!"

Tomaj looked curiously upon the other. A Judge. He'd not seen the likes of one since he'd ran into the Judge of Wings-- who wasn't exactly working toward keeping law and order in Ivalice.

He crossed his arms. "I thought all you dead, aside from that one... what was his name?" he shrugged, "I suppose surprises do happen. Or perhaps the profession is at a rise again -- surprised I've not heard of it -- Not the job I'd choose, but if you like being a law jockey, why not?"
